This morning While pulling his dose, I took steps to remove that pesky air bubble. I hope it wont make too big of a difference in his dose but I'm sure that bubble is equal to a drop or so.

Almost green this morning. Nice start.
Yesterday

After that one weird yellow yesterday morning he ran flat all day and night it seems, Something coming? We shall see!
Could be that was that him getting beach ready?

If you are having bubble problems, what I found worked best to avoid them was pressing the plunger firmly down before inserting it into the vial/pen, once in the pen I would release and draw the insulin, If I did that I rarely got a bubble. If I did get a small bubble, I found those hard to get rid off, so what I would do is draw a bit more air to make a big bubble, you might have to gently tap the syringe to make the bubble coalesce. Then I would hold the needle upright and press the plunger expelling all the air.

I do this every time but still get that one bubble. :/

I pulled a tiny bit more insulin than the dose, then pulled in some air, Flicked the syringe to get air all together and then expelled the air and adjusted to his dose.

The only thing I worry is this may act as a dose increase (only by a drop) But I will be doing it this way from now on for accuracy. Who knows, that one drop may be just what he needs!

The day isn't over yet...maybe??? One never knows when these sneaky cats will jump right in...Luci surprises me sometimes by doing that when I least expect it...
