Happy Caturday!

First full reduction day - Tina is doing well, still going outside every chance she gets. Yesterday, the cutest thing happened - Tina was stretching on and scratching a tree, and my dog went to the tree and put his paws up on it like Tina and stretched.

I'm sure glad I have calipers, but the .25 U dosing is still eye straining! I just want to be consistent.

Have the best day possible everyone:)

Congratulations, congratulations and more congratulations!!!!!!
It's funny, I don't know who I wrote to about the disgusting worms. Oh how gross, they were all over the bag. I didn't even open the pouch, just took the bag full of food out to the garage and will take back to store today ..yukk...better not get those little critters in my car.
I will buy grandma's chicken soup from weruva that you told me about yesterday. That way Yo will have low phosphorous high carb gravy when he goes low. Thanks for sharing :bighug:

Thank you thank you!!!
I was happy to find the HC Weruva - Tina seemed to like the soup/gravy as much as FF gravy that she had one other time.
One of these days in the future, all these attempts to find the right food, and then ending up with worms, will be funny. One day, not today!! It's that, "it's better to laugh than cry" kind of deal - for the future! I sure hope you don't get worms in your car:eek:
Yoyo is going to tell Tina secrets today, I just know it. I hope I learn something later today;)

Tina, huge congratulations on your reducie!!! :cat::cat::cat:
That is so cute, Tina showing her dogie how to stretch like a cat! :joyful:
Have a wonderful day Jan!
Thank you Sonia:D:) - I'm so happy and crossing my fingers the reduction sticks tight!
It was just adorable, my 47 pound dog copying Tina. He always pees on that tree, and didn't know it was good for other things too, until Tina showed him:cat::smuggrin:

Yikes!! What worms? I missed that yesterday. Were they still alive? Maybe put them outside for the birds? :nailbiting::nailbiting::nailbiting:

Hi Sonia and Jan......I purchased Wellness pouches for the first time and probably for the last time yesterday.
I put the pouches in the pantry in the bag that the store put them in when I paid. Late last night around 11:30pm I decided to open a bag as Yo needed gravy to surf safely. OMG....I didn't know what I was mushing on the bag. You know sometimes when your brain is not fully functioning and you start thinking things well I started to think that somehow fried rice from the chinese food that I had earlier that night got on the bag. It didn't sink in until I kept seeing these tan looking rice things that smushed all over the pouch and then they had heads.....well that was it for me- out they went and then I had to wash off the remaining cans that were also in the bag with the pouches. How disgusting and so late at night when I am so tired and things make less and less sense to me.

Thank you thank you!!!

Oh it is funny now, but last night I almost cried. One thing after another:(
I guess no more pouches for me. Maybe the humidity here in Florida just attracts more buggers:)

The only secret that I can think of that Yo will tell Tina is that ......my mommy stuffs my face and I don't want the food. I'm gonna bite her finger and teach her a lesson.
Let me know what Tina tells you:joyful:

OMG!! There's something really horrifying about those little rice thingies with heads!!!!! Poor you!!! At least they were contained to the bag! Keep checking the cupboard though! A very long time ago my bf put his bag of dry dog food next to the wall in the kitchen and by the time we got home they had crawled all the way up the wall to the ceiling!!!!! :nailbiting::nailbiting::nailbiting:

You just about have me rolling on the floor. I know I know, it's not funny:joyful::joyful::joyful:

I completely understand the brain getting a little behind, confused, and all that during the night especially. I'm sure everyone can relate and that's why it's so funny! And unfair - bugs fighting for the food, and meanwhile disguised as your food.

@Debra and Yoyo OMG :arghh::arghh::arghh::arghh: So sorry you had to deal with that!!! I definitely would've started screaming and hollering if that happened to me late at night, especially last night when I was literally fighting my entire being to stay awake.

That happened to me when I used to volunteer at the cat sanctuary. I remember tossing that can across the room into the garbage can so quick that I think some worms flew off onto the floor.... ugh.

OHMYGAWD!!! What the heck....:eek::eek::eek::eek:

I was going to write congrats to Tina on her reducie...and those great numbers today...then got into the comments about rice with 'heads'...ugh...and it's late...and whaaaaaaat....I'd probably have gagged...no more sleep for me...I'd have launched into a cleaning frenzy in the middle of the night tossing anything and everything that had possibly come into contact with those pouches...I had no idea such a thing was possible..I'd be in contact with the store where you bought that and tell them to get rid of all that food - it's possible the whole bunch at the store is contaminated..ugh...gives me the hee-bee-gee-bees just thinking about it...:facepalm::facepalm:

I think I would have been screaming. We're they in the pouch itself or in the outside of it?
They were on the outside of the pouch. I never ever opened the pouch. I started wiping if off with my hand and I didn't know why there were these smudge prints of gooky stuff; it was the dead worms that I guess I mushed with my hand by instinct. When it finally sunk in to my head that they were worms, I threw it back in the bag but then I realized I had canned food in the bag too. So I took the cans out and washed them all off in the sink and checked and rechecked for worms, but everything looked clean. The bag went out into the garage on top of the garbage can.

I just returned from the store where I told them there are worms in these pouches...yukky yukky yukkkkkkk!!!

No more pouches for me.

So how is your day:)......
