Sorry for the late post. We're leaving tomorrow and suddenly it seems like there are a thousand things to do...and Luci requires more time and care getting the tests, food, etc. She has had a bit of diarrhea this morning so it required some carpet cleaning - usually her LB is downstairs in the laundry room..now she's upstairs in the guest room (as I mentioned yesterday, she's chosen that as her recovery suite)...just one more thing to do!

She does seem to be feeling somewhat better - sometimes when I go into her room she stretches out and rolls on her back and purrs...not so much at shot time this morning...for some reason she must have figured I was coming back with another needle to poke her and got all grumpy and hidey on me...

I'm trying to minimize the testing...she's eating like a trooper .. so that's good. She just doesn't care to be poked again right now - too much of that at the vet the other night I guess...

One more day to get it all done...

Take care everyone...I sure hope @Pamela & Amethyst will be ok and @Haley&Diane get good news and @For_Luna continues to improve.

It's good news that Luci is feeling a bit feisty - diarrhea, not so good news. Praying that you have safe travels tomorrow. And Luci, there may be lemon trees and Florida, but that doesn't mean you need to be climbing into them with your bum foot.

Healing vines to our awesome Luci girl -- peaceful vines to Sue and DH -- and safe travels; we will be looking for any and all updates.
Sue - we are now color sisters - I've got pink to go with your blue:):p:cool:

how long do you take to drive to Florida?

Two long days on the road, one night in a hotel about half way ... I think we've planned it to go between storms...the one we had yesterday has moved east...and it looks like clear sailing all the way down thru the midwest - east side of the country now.

Have a great weekend Judy!

ope diarrhea was just a one shot this morning!

The vet prescribed Fortiflora for her stinky diarrhea...it wasn't unfortunately a one-time thing. She also said not to give her the Onsior today...I'll give it to her tomorrow ... I hope the Fortiflora helps...she's eating very well...but I think she's lonely up there in the guest room all day...she purrs until I have to test her or give her the insulin injection - then she growls and lets me know she's still not comfortable with all the poking just yet. I'm still trying to keep it to the absolute minimum...poor thing...I hope she'll forget soon about the vet and all the poking...I'm afraid we may have to delay the dental by another month just to avoid over-traumatizing the poor thing...

Sue's pink sister - thanks for the extra incentive - I love living on the wild side - been boring long enough:p. I did scare myself in the mirror today - was too busy to remember what I had done!
