Numbers lower than normal - dose due

If you haven't fed already, stall for 20 min. and then retest and lets see which way her numbers are heading.

If you're not going to be home and given how new you are to using Lantus, I don't think you should shoot. If you have shot, can you change your plans?
Just an FYI, if you are concerned that the pre-shot numbers are too low for your comfort, stall -- don't feed your kitty, though. Post and ask for help like you did today.

That's what I thought, was unclear if she had also shot? That was what was worrying me.

she has been having lantus since July. She has just had the change in food last week and gone back down to 1 iu as the food previously was obviously playing a big role since finding this site. I have fed her but she hasn't been shot. I'm out for 45 and then I can check again and then I'll be off to work today but can check at lunch. vets always tell me better she is high than too low. just not been this low consistently yet so a bit confused.
Without knowing if her numbers are heading up, I'd be uncomfortable with suggesting that you shoot, especially if you'll be heading off to work. The other factor is that we only have a week's worth of data on. your spreadsheet so there's no way to know what Fifi's typical pattern is. The changes in food and dose are wonderful but I don't think in good conscience that I could coach you to shoot. Like your vet, we're all for safety first. Hours in high numbers are better than 5 minutes in numbers that are dangerously low.
FWIW, I would have gotten some additional tests last night. You don't know if your kitty's numbers went way low or not after you saw that 97.

I agree with Sienne, given the recent change from dry to wet, relatively little data,and that you will be at work, the safest course of action would be to skip today.
Do gather the data when you get back as that will help you going forward.

335 an 308 in US numbers.
Looks like she is bouncing ( that and the no shot/ lack of insulin)
Bouncing is a reaction some kitties exhibit when they
1) drop into numbers that they haven't been used to for some time
2) drop fast
3) spend longer than usual in a lower range.
(or any combination of the above)
When kitty experiences this it can is some cats, trigger a physiological reaction that ultimate results in the live dumping glucose into the blood stream and this is accompanied by the subsequent rise in BG.
Looking at last nights BG we can see that she probably spent all night in green, we don't know how low she got (possibly lower than 90)
We can see that she has bounced before, on october 23 she hit 65 in the pm cycle +3 and the next morning she was red at amps.
With Lantus we look at the nadirs, and she has been getting green on 1u and with the food change, so don't worry if she is high at pmps, do not up the dose even if PMPS is very high, for now stick with the 1u dose at pmps.

Yes you can shoot her 1u dose in the morning.
Because lantus is a depot insulin, when we skip a dose the depot drains some, it can take up to 6 cycles for you to see the full effect of the dose. That is why even on TR, the more aggressive of the dosing methods we usually only do increases every 6 cycles if we have the data to support our decision.
That said some kitties can have a strong reaction when they get a shot after a skip. So don't assume she will not go lower even if she is starting in pink, monitor the cycle as you have been doing follow up any sharp drops with extra testing. With the recent elimination of dry food we can sometimes see a dramatic drop in insulin requirements, so remain vigilant.
