Good morning!
AMPS 274 shooting 3.0u
Boing boing boing:rolleyes:

Boomer ate ok last night and got me up once, right after he visited the litter box:rolleyes: He does like his routines:rolleyes::rolleyes::rolleyes::rolleyes: At least he slept with me for part of the night after giving me a couple of kisses:kiss::bighug::cat:

I don't think he's feeling terrific this morning likely due to this epic bounce.

Today on the agenda.....well I was 75% ready to go out, looked out the window, and it's raining:rolleyes: Funny the weather network mentioned clouds but that it's supposed to be sunny by 8:00 (in about an hour). We shall see. Other than that, DH is moving the washer/dryer today to get the tiles/mud out from that area of the laundry room. He decided to do it today after we decided 2 days ago to wait a couple of weeks since the new washer/dryer are on back order. sigh. Why we ever discuss these things is beyond me because he always changes his mind later.

Today's photo is a Yellow-Rumped Warbler. I think all the warblers have passed through this area now on their way south for the winter; this image was taken earlier this month.

Awww kitty kisses From Boomer! I hope he clears the boing soon!
Beautiful picture!
 To your DH, lol
Enjoy sunshine when it comes out Judy and have a great day!

And I don't even get to enjoy a day of him bouncing (freedom). +3 101
Surprise surprise our washer/dryer are in; only ordered 10 days ago and it was supposed to be 4-6 weeks. So while I was out this morning, DH called in someone to disconnect the gas dryer and he moved both appliances out of the way and pulled up the tiles and mud.

Congrats on the new w/d set! AND early no less!

Nice pic of the 'yellow rump' - cute name for a bird.

Tell Booms that he needs to visit at another time...fresh from the LB... I dunno about that...

Last night, walking past the picture window to the back yard something caught my eye. I thought it was a bird so walked over to get a closer look. Still couldn't tell what it was and then it moved. Hollered at hubby and thought it was a small hawk or small owl. Grabbed the binoculars and it was neither but was a bird. Gave the binos to hubby and went to get my camera. He got a good visual on it and research it. It flew up into the tree before I got back with the camera. It was a Wood Thrush. Never had seen one before.

Very cool looking bird. Quite large.

That's funny because a few days ago I photographed a bird in my backyard.....ended up being a Wood Thrush. Was a first for me!

Now that is cool! Hope you post your picture.

There is a retention pond over by work. You can only see it from the east bound feeder. I don't come home that way very often. About a week ago i did and there was a whole flock of large pink birds on the far side. 10-15 or so. Now the only large pink birds are spoonbills but they are along the coast. We have had a few wayward flamingos. One down by Corpus and one in Galveston that had escaped from the zoo. Drove by Monday and there was one, possibly two in the one tree that is on the small island in the middle. I plan on going over there Saturday to see if I can stop and try and get some pictures. Problem is there is no shoulder on the feeder but hoping there won't be too much traffic because of the weekend.
