MONDAY- 10-21- 19. Shooting 0.5 on the line
PMPS - 128. I looked back and saw on 10-14-19 night cycle he was 126 and shot
0.5 skinny,. Then on 10-20-19 he was 130 day cycle and shot 0.5 on the line but only did one test
What do you think? @MrWorfMen's Mom
Linda I had to shoot so I went with 0.5 on the line. I hope I did the right thing
and it wasn't to much. I will monitor him closely.

I'm sure Tyler will be fine. I sometimes wonder if going that little wee bit higher on dose with those lower BGs might get him into more greens. As long as you can monitor, there's no problem finessing doses a bit to see how Tyler reacts.

Last night was fine but I was pooped out today. It's always a bit of a fiasco the first night and when you aren't feeling 100% it takes it's toll. Oh well. I'll recover. :woot:

Sorry you are tired today. Hey, put me on your team...I want to curl, I want to furl, I want to slide that stone down the sheet and hit the button right on the nose, after knocking all the other team's stones off the ice.
 
I also found out I am out of shape. Was instructing a couple of new members how to throw rocks so spent a lot of time crouched down. Got up this morning with a few sore muscles which I never expected. This getting older is

Oh gosh, forgot about the crouching..that isn't happening with this old woman. If I managed to get down on the ice..there I would stay, not only getting older, but a whole lot colder. So, I can't be on the team after all Linda :arghh:, and I did so want to throw one of those big beautiful shiny rocks around. And I liked those little brooms too!

You give that cutie pie Elmo a big wet kiss for me right on his nose. When I kiss both my cats I almost suck the air out of them lol. I can't help it. Yes the sport sounds like a lot of fun. Big hugs to you also you deserve it
 
Felt a little more off today than yesterday. I think I overdid it on Sunday and it's biting back. Hopefully tomorrow will be better.
 
The cold is still lingering to some degree and in all fairness it's only been 8 days. It's far better but still not gone and going to curling perhaps wasn't the best idea. I'm just so darn tired but that's probably because my diet has been crap for the last week too. Haven't been up for cooking much. :rolleyes:

Its understandable that you are still tired, you having been eating normal because you feel like crap, you went out not feeling great and of course you are tired and besides taking care of the kitties. You probably wish you could sleep non stop for 2 days or so
I wish you felt better my friend, I hope you start to feel better each day.

Hey Linda we had to leave the house at 8 am 4 people on the block mowing their
lawns. Had to get in the car and sit for 3-1/2 hours really. Some people are so
anal with their lawns. Can't take it anymore.

@+2- 107 did not feed
@+3 - 103. did not feed
@+5.25 - 154. Fed him FF Pate he was begging to eat wouldn't you think his BG would have been lower @+5.25
I will test him 2 or 3 hours from now like @+7 or @+8
Ok tested @+8.5 - 113. I guess feeding him @+5.25 might means his pancreas did some work @MrWorfMen's Mom

PMPS - 182. Going with 0.5 FAT
Do you think his PMPS might be this high because of the +8.5 of 113 since the
@+5.25 was 154 and then dropped to 113?
Looking at what I told you wasn't it strange to go from 103 @+3 to 154 @+5.25
Any thoughts @MrWorfMen's Mom
 
Again, no insight on Tyler's numbers but want you to know you both are on my mind ❤️ Our boys really like to throw us curve balls, huh ?:woot::woot: You are doing an awesome job with Tyler , Diane .... he is blessed that he belongs to you ❤️
 
Vetsulin pushes BG down swiftly and it could be that causes some glucose to be released to bump up BG but the fact that BG goes down after eating indicates Tyler's pancreas is working and reacting to food so I think what you are seeing is normal. BG can also get elevated because kitty is hungry so if Tyler didn't eat from before his shot till +5.25, he might have been ready to chew your leg off. :woot:

Oh yes he was going to chew my leg off I'll, I didn't want to feed him right away just to see if I might get a green number. He was hungry alright. Maybe like you said about not eating until @+5.25 which was 1:30 pm and before that his last meal was at 7:45 am. It just irked me seeing the 182 tonight. Do you think it was this high because of dropping to the 113 or it is what it is. Feel any better @MrWorfMen's Mom

The 182 could be because of the drops today but I think it just is what it is. You can't hang on every number or you will drive yourself crazy.
 
Still tired but not as bad as it was. I actually have a bit of an appetite again now which I am sure is helping but the dang cold has gone into one sinus and bending over to clean litter boxes this AM made me think my face was going to explode. Otherwise, all's good.:rolleyes:

That is the worst feeling ever, maybe you should go to the doctor's , you don't want it to get worse.Want you to feel better
 
Oh yeah, that's plenty. If he happened to be dropping toward green, you can just give him higher carb food to hold him. Tyler is so stable I wouldn't worry about him. Besides you shot on the line at 130 not long ago which is basically the same pre-shot.
SInus is still a bit uncomfortable when I tip over or if I push on my sinus. I don't get colds very often (usually go years between) but when I get them they are never one of short lived ones.:rolleyes:

Alrighty 0.5 on the line, I understand when you get colds its a whopper, hope the sinus gets better, if not go to the doctors, worry about you
 
Going to the doctor is a useless endeavour. This is no doubt a virus and I will not take antibiotics unless I am absolutely guaranteed there is bacteria involved.
