Good morning/afternoon,
After 15 days and many increases, Ti-Mousse finally woke up in GREEN. :D

My little girl, Zoé, was dx with CKD stage3 this week;:( I lost her brother from it 2 years ago. Right now, I'm searching for low phos food available in Canada. She was prescribed Semintra instead of Amlodipine (which I'm questioning of course...) and I realized when I got home that they didn't take her urine and BP, and they did not mention about subQs!! It's never the same vets at that clinic; not too happy with the visit!

My uncle is finally back home!

Hope all kitties have been doing good!

Sorry to learn about Zoe's dx. I hope you get the answers you need and soon.

Glad to learn that your Uncle is home, hopefully this is a good thing.

At least you woke to Ti-Mousse in Green:D:D... I hope he surfs safely:bighug:

So happy you woke up to a green Ti-Mousse! :D:D:D
And great news about your uncle being back home, hopefully he'll make himself good food to eat. :bighug:
There's a much larger variety of low phos in the US I believe but Weruva has some good good ones that I feed Leo, like Steak Frites, Glam & Punk and Chicken Frick 'a Zee. You don't have to worry about the carbs as much since Zoe is not diabetic so there's probably a lot more to choose from. Check out Dr Lisa's food list. Also, add a bit of water to all her food in case she's not drinking enough. I hope she's eating. :bighug:

Ravan doesn't get any sub Q . He drinks a lot of water & Vet said he doesn't need it unless his Blood work gets worse. Did you read the advice on Tanya's yet?

Lyanne and Ti Mousse darling,
I also had a much worse kidney result with Tina than I expected, around a week ago. It hurt so bad, but now I'm just moving forward with fluid therapy, and she obviously feels better. I feel better from the support here on FDMB. I'd never given fluids before, and wasn't prepared for her needing it. Huge hugs for you, and for your Zoe. And don't leave Ti-Mousse out of the love.:bighug::bighug::bighug:

I'll read it carefully tomorrow; went to hospital, my sister in law had a stroke but she'll be OK. I might go see another clinic for Zoe, I don't like the fact that they didn't take her BP and urine; I have the feeling it was not a complete and well done exam even if the bill was over done!:woot: I want to make sure I'm doing the most for my little old girl... I appreciate your help Joy!

So sorry about Tina :( but with all your care I'm sure she'll be OK; glad to see you're good at giving fluids!
You're always so nice Jan, it feels good to read you! :bighug: I'll get my Zoe going with her new way of living...
Hope your eyes are like brand new without pain anymore! :)

And don't leave Ti-Mousse out of the love.:bighug::bighug::bighug:
Don't worry for my Ti-Mousse, but you're right with that; sometimes we're so worried about a sick kitty that we don't pay as much attention to the others! :)

You're so nice! Weruva is a very good brand; I used to get it for Ti-Mousse (LC) and I still have some but he is so-so about it.... and my little old girl never wanted to taste it! She is fussy... The only Weruva I can get here is "Cats in the Kitchen"; I think the Steak Frites and Glam & Punk are from Weruva Truluxe which I can't find here! If it's Truluxe, where do you get it from? Maybe that one she would like!

If I can I would like to find something LC at the same time so I can leave the food out for everybody; anyway Ti-Mousse would benefit of low phos!
Thank you so much for your help ! Have a great evening Sonia! :bighug:

Sorry about Zoe’s diagnosis. I don’t know anything about CKD, but there’s a lot of CKD kitties on here. I’m sure you’ll get some good advice.
Glad your Uncle is home!
What a beautiful GREEN day for Ti-Mousse today!!! Keep it up sweet boy!
