Yesterday. Caber Yr 2 Day 12
Thank you everyone for the birthday wishes. It was way to nasty to go out so I stayed home and did nothing. Today it's the same except wind has died down some.
Tux is eating more but not 100%. The urgent care called yesterday to check on him. I told them he still wasn't eating but a few bites and I gave another cerenia and bupre. They wanted to know how I knew what dose to give. They were perturbed to say the least. They say I could bring him in everyday for cerenia shot. I asked about getting injectable for home. They said people can't give shots at home. I told them I have a cat I give insulin, b12 and subqs to at home, and retired nurse. I'm perfectly capable of doing it. Nope . They said if not eating by today, to bring him in and hospitalize him for few days. Thinking no way, no one there overnight, and he wouldn't eat and they wouldn't offer different foods or try toppings every hour like I have been. He is better off at home unless it's a clear emergency.
Demo on kitchen starts the 28th. Have to pick up another light switch just in case the recessed can't be wired in the way I want.
At least I have 10 more days to finish packing up kitchen.

Hope he's back to eating well! For sure, he's better at home with you than over there! 
Praying you are easily able to have done for Tux what is needed. I know vets have laws and regulations they must abide by but at times it seems they are just unwilling to think outside the box , to trust a competent owner. Hope they reconsider, Paula
