Yellow start for Ti-Mousse! This morning, he's quiet, not playing and didn't eat as much... Hoping for at least one green today! He's starting his 5th cycle on that dose. We'll see how his day goes! He's starting to get used to having his teeth cleaned. Tried with his toothbrush, but it was a NO-NO :woot:, so I do it with a small gauze after his breakfast; it's not perfectly done but we'll improve with practice!

Nice and cool day; have to work outside to get things going! Have a great day!

I need to think about some dental for my cats. Seriously didn’t even know it was a thing until I joined here

TiMousse... buddy, let’s see you in some lower numbers!! I can feel the dosecrease in the air! What will you do !?:p
I didnt either

Like you wrote, teeth cleaning will improve with practice. I have been cleaning my pet's teeth since they were puppies and kittens. It's always difficult in the beginning but once they realize nothing bad will happen and you make it as much fun as possible, they usually come around. Like everything else, you can offer a treat when done to make him feel better :cat:

Sending appy vines and can I ask how u brush Ti's teeth?? I've tried but unsuccessful
Have a great day Lyane
It's more cleaning and rubbing than brushing; I tried with different kinds of toothbrushes but he won't let me.
What works great for us is to take a piece of gauze, fold it making sure it's not too big for his mouth, damp with warm water; gently wipe his lips trying to reach his teeth with the gauze, at that point he'll open his lips and you'll have access to the teeth; at first just pass the gauze on the teeth, short and sweet and he'll get used to it; then you can start rubbing a little! ( at the beginning the gauze might even be dirty....!)
I use a roll of gauze that I cut the size I need; the pads are too thick !

Good luck with this new hobby! :p It looks a lot worst than it is. If you try it, you'll be a pro after a few times! ;)

Lovely blues today for Ti! At least he's at the beach...which is a good thing...now if he would just come a wittle bit closer and maybe get in the lagoon..otherwise I see mama is counting those cycles...he needs what he needs to start that healing. Come on Ti...show mama you can do it!

Have a great evening Layne!

Thanks for the teeth-cleaning lesson. I think I should try that with Gus, but his teeth are so sharp I'd be afraid to! Will have to wait for February "pet-dental month" and let the vettybean or the techs do it.

Happy Thanksgiving weekend, Lyane,

Since yesterday, he went from flat yellows, to flat blues... hopefully tomorrow will bring flat GREENS! :D:joyful:
