Good morning all :bighug: If it’s Wednesday then it’s Garbage Day so Elmo is right there with his nose pressed against the screen. Funny cat .:) Ate well overnight and ready to see where the day takes us. Sending prayers and hugs to any in need or wanting them ❤️ May your Wednesday’s be extra blessed:)

Good morning Beth. You said it last night..that it's unseasonably cold here in Eastern Washington. We got heavy wet snow last night, on still fully leafed out trees, which of course results in limbs breaking, coming down over power lines and cars. There are power outages in different areas. Particularly in the whole south hill area of Spokane so some schools have no power, and they don't want kids walking in areas with downed power lines, ergo the whole school district gets a day off.

Hope Elmo enjoys spying on the garbage truck people, and that you all have a good day.

Wow, Lou, and I thot our weather was crazy and unpredictable :woot: Crank up that heatie blanket and stay warm :bighug:
 
Hopefully watching for the garbage truck will keep Elmo's mind off planning any shenanigans today! Slow and steady wins the race, Elmo!

Not sure ab them ,Sonia, but Elmo does view them with a critical eye and waits for them to turn around at the cul de sac for another view/ smell to make his Wednesday AM complete ❤️ Funny cat :cat:

Come on down to the beach Elmo - lots of room on LTs beach blanket. Now, Elmo, there's no reason to go at break neck speed, just a slow gingerly pace will do. LT is serving tasty hor d' oeuvres near the tiki hut.
 
+2. 376.....well he has slow down thus far...notice I say “ thus far” :rolleyes: Giving SQ, thyroid and pumpkin for pooping ,tho he did just go...we use baby food meat for shots and SQ treat so I’m sure that plays a part ...
 
+4. 286.....letting him be ....came for food and spit up little yellow bile...gave a bit of SEB....acting fine ....thinking maybe the pumpkin plus Natural Moves ? It’s all good .....back to cleaning

+6....282.... only thing different is he has been eating Weruva Paw Lickin Chicken which is 3 carbs...we all know he isn’t carb sensitive ... have to kinda wonder what’s going on... other than Elmo be Elmo :bighug:

I know that LC and MC are peanuts as far as Elmo is concerned, but you don't want to give too much so that the PMPS is not food induced. Maybe just a smidgen more of LC? I'm not sure how much he ate at +10.
Off to forage in the fridge.

Elmo may have plans for tonight. So gracious of him to let you know his plans with the +10 testing.

I’m pretty exhausted from last night .... but what’s best for him ?.. knowing I’ll have a NS on Saturday PM..... is there anything to do to get this flipped where he runs higher at night than day ????
 
I can monitor a while ( midnight) but not beyond .... really detest carbing him up with such regularity... he’s 19 ...that can’t be good for him either.... catch 22...
 
Ok. We have two souls to consider and I vote give him 0.25u (I know yet another reduced shot) but he's obviously not going to make this easy and quite honestly I know of no way to turn his timetable around. His BG will do what it will do. You are providing support and following his dance moves but he is leading and all you can do is follow.
You can stall dinner and retest in 30 minutes to see if he's rising on his own but I doubt it will make much difference.

.25.....this ought to be entertaining....been looking at Sticky of that shot ....any advise on how to position syringe or just eyeball and shoot ?
 
Just eyeball and shoot. Consistency is more important than accuracy so as long as it's roughly half way between the 0.5u and zero line you'll be fine. You can get calipers to make it easier to do those tiny doses but otherwise it's just do the best you can.
 
.25 it is...test at +1.... sorry that Elmo and I are such a pain :( You all are so patient and kind....could not even attempt to do this without you all ❤️

Interesting suggestion. I really think he's taking the cake for PJ parties and no one can stay up night after night like this over the long haul. I really hope he is on a mission and just making the road a bit bumpier than usual.
 
FYI... if I disappear there is some severe thunderstorms headed this way so we may lose hillbilly internet ...will just have to see...:woot:

I saw the PMPS and I was like, Oh no.. Elmo... please... I hope tonight is a smooth ride down the BG ladder that allows you to sleep comfortably.

Ming also does his shenanigans at night. Why are cats like this... :banghead:
