10/07 Mačka AMPS 419, +4 152, +5.5 145, +6.5 121 Blues!!!

When should I test again? Sorry I'm a little panicky right now.
A +5 in roughly 30 minutes will be fine.
Mačka has food enough on board.

The next time Mačka is in good numbers but not wanting to eat LC, try a smidgen of MC (no more than 1/8 tsp) on top of the LC. Just letting him see you put some MC on top of the LC and smelling it might be enough to get him to eat the LC. He's used to getting MC at lower numbers and will delay eating the LC because he is expecting MC. With him hitting lovely blues and greens now, that is an expectation that needs to be broken.

Oh I didn't think he would trick me into this so soon! I think you're right!

I couldn't help myself and tested at +4.5 = 159, so basically same number as 1/2 hour ago. I'll test again at +5.5.
He keeps my heart pounding hard, this little gangster

Have you ever tried getting freeze dried duck liver and sprinkling it on top? That will make any of my cats eat anything. Alice gets expectant of MC when she goes through a stint of low numbers. It only takes a couple days for her to demand the good stuff.

That is quite a drop for sure, glad he’s hanging steady for the moment.

I haven't! I tried duck in can and he dislikes it, but freeze dried stuff usually works ok. Next time I go to the pet store I'll get some! Thanks!
He used to be obsessed with raw but now will not touch it anymore. Ahhhhh....
I think it’s the smell that does it, and liver has a strong smell! If he is a fish lover instead, you could look for something in that area. Since all my cats have an upper respiratory virus, they may not eat as much if they can’t smell it, and liver will always convince them, but fish seemed to rather confuse them instead. Go figure! Alice wasn’t into the freeze dried chicken either until I added liver to the bag with it.

The time necessary to clear a bounce is slowly decreasing. That's a good sign.
You’re right! It is.
It’s funny how I can see in his behavior that we’re going in the right direction. He meows again for all kinds of reasons, he assesses the heights of countertops and furniture (but can’t jump and lets me know, that’s an extra meow), he’s just friendlier in general.
