Hello,
I just inherited my moms 7 yr old cat "Tipper".. I took her to the vet to get her a check up and find her a good home (I had a double lung transplant in 2016 and have been told not to clean litter boxes) The vet told me she is diabetic and needs 2 units of glargine twice a day,,,so now,,
I have decided that until I can find her a good home,I am going to take care of her,
I'll wear a good mask when changing her litter box....my biggest problem is the cost of the glargine insulin 10ml.
Does anyone know where I can get it cheaper...?

Absolutely!! You can get it from Canada like a lot of us do!! If the script is written for Glargine, you can get Basaglar cheaper than Lantus (they're both Glargine)

Here's the info on buying insulin from Marks Marine Pharmacy

And thank you for not doing the "easy" thing and having your mom's kitty euthanized. You're a hero in my book!!

You might want to contact Diabetic Cats In Need. We help low income caretakers with the costs of treatment as well as posting diabetic cats in need of rehoming. It can take quite awhile, but it only takes one person to see her and say "She should come home to me!!"
