Good morning everyone! For the 1st time LT ate his 2 tsp. snack from the auto-feeder at +8.5 during the night. Trying to get those pancreas firing on all cylinders. I will give one at +8.5 today also. With a 131, I hoping some other sweet kitty will lure him into the lagoon today. One good thing is that LT has become very steady and consistent with his numbers. There are very few surprises. The 1 drop doesn't get him into the green enough, but the 1 drop+ is a bit too much. Seriously such small amounts that there is no wriggle room between the 2 doses.

I hope everyone has a fun weekend with their family - 2 and 4 legged.

Hubbie left out kibble again! Don't know what to say. LT has a bunch in him now. Here we go again on getting him straightened out - we'll probably end up back at 0.1 U again after this. I' now taking over the feeding of the kibble to the outside cats so this doesn't happen again.

Oh, Suzanne , I am so sorry:bighug: My DH is very willing to help too but can get distracted with man things ( power washed neighbor driveway yesterday). LT will come down . Can you put outdoor cat kibble in a secure container so isn’t even in the house ???

Good morning! What you described is the way Tina was before finally going low. So predictable, but the bookends started getting shorter, which looked like a clue for a reduction. Using a feline calibrated meter, staying under 130 is what you are aiming for first, instead of under 100 anyway. But yes, we like greens:D too.

He left a bowl on top of the wood stove. He knows better, but he's in a hurry to go riding with friends today and just forgot. I think we have a container down at the shop, but it's not very racoon proof.

Oh Suzanne...time for some talkin to DH! But LT didn't seem to have too bad a day so far after eating a load of kibble...??? Maybe he didn't eat as much as you think?? Or maybe since he's gotten into it a couple of times lately, it's just the 'norm' for him???Crazy cats! Perhaps get DH a different device for handling the kibble in (like a container with a lid on it?) I guess by having it in a bowl on the woodstove indicates that he's in transit with it to ??? Just a thought.

Hope LT improves soon...he seems so close...:)

Have a great evening!

He jumped to a 252, so I suppose he'll come back down to the usual by tomorrow night. We feed the civvies out on the front step and the woodstove is the closest place to set stuff down. He had so much going on this a.m. he just absent-mindedly set it down there waiting for the last cat to come up to eat - a habit of several years -sigh..... ahem, I may have chewed him out a bit too much, but I don't think it will happen again for awhile.
