Yosh 10/1 am 363 pm 474

Yes, let’s see it Yoshi!!! We’re tired of the pinks we want to see you in more yellows blues and greeeeeens!!!

I hope Yoshi slides down for you today :)

Good luck today! Are you now using the human meter only?
No, not yet. I got my Alpha Track strips in last night. I am so stressed with this, and I run a department and teach at a college. I don't want to put anything new on my plate now. A human meter won't change the dosing, to the best of my knowledge, so I will stick with what I know until his dental appt.

You are right, as long as Yoshi stays high, it doesn’t really matter which meter you use. High is high. And he still needs an increase. Enough said on that for now. I am not changing my dosing suggestions.

Responding to @Crista & Ming post from last night, my girl once spent three months, bouncing during the day, and dropping at night and earning reductions. If I had dozed by day time numbers, I would have increased. I didn't have to stay up every night, cause she didn’t drop every night, but I depended on the before bed tests to tell me if I needed to set an alarm. I am not saying Yoshi looks like he is dropping at night. His day times get a little bit of downward curve, so not a bounce, just too low a dose. And yes, he is bouncing from yellow.

I am not comfortable increasing until I can monitor. I have a full time job as a teacher and department chair. I need to be present and function at work and not be worried that I am going to come home to a hypo cat (or worse, god forbid). I will increase on Friday when I am off if his numbers still suggest it.

I got home from work, and he was ravenous. The timer went off with his low-carb food about two hours before I got home to test. It’s hard for me not to give him something when he’s like this, but I didn’t as I didn’t want food to interfere w pmps. He found a lone popcorn (popped) kernel on the floor. I caught him in action and he probably had one bite before I took it away.

When he hunts for food, he’s really low, or really high. This time he was high. I know he’s bouncing, but I’m going to take @Wendy&Neko’s advice and increase a bit. I will set all possible alarms to get a +4 or 6.

Also, I’m still waiting to hear from the vet about the urine culture, and he’s scheduled w her 10/16 for dental.

I hope he'll be getting an increase soon. Many people work full time and grab a test just before leaving for work...then load your auto-feeder accordingly...LC for normal numbers, MC and/or HC for those lower numbers. He'll be safe and you won't need to worry.

Okay, I will increase. If anyone can give clarification on lc, mc, hc foods, I would appreciate it. I stick to Ff pates. Ocean whitefish w tuna lc, turkey and giblets mc and beef hc. Although I think low carb is all of the above

Are these all FF Classic patés? I think I recognize the names. If so, they all are low carb. But maybe I understood it all wrong.
In my kit I have: FF gravy lovers for middle carb (10-15%), and FF medleys / Wellness signature for higher carbs (20-28%).
