Aloha friends!

I'm back from my Maui wedding and honeymoon! Hope everyone is well!

We got home at 2 am today so at Blaze's AMPS at 6:30 am, he was at 373 so I gave 1 unit. PMPS was 188 and I gave 1 unit again. We've had the pet sitter give 1U if Blaze was above 250 at AMPS/PMPS, give 0.5U if BG was between 200-250 and skip the shot if he was under 200, just to be safe while we were gone. If you look at his SS, Blaze has been all over the place while we were gone!

Should I go back to 1.25U, which is where we were at before we left for Maui? Or should I told the 1U for a bit longer, since I'm home again to test more often?

Welcome home, Sarah :bighug: Bet Blaze was glad to see you :cat:

Welcome back, Sarah!!!!!

Looks like Blaze is giving you a proper welcome... I can't stay up with you tonight, unfortunately-- how much later are you going to be able to be up and monitoring? He's still really safe, but you always have the option of aborting the cycle with some carbs so you can sleep if you are concerned he might drop too far.

I think he wants the attention, now that you're back!

Thank you!! Looks like Blaze is definitely wanting the attention back on him!!
I can stay up for a bit longer, I’m not going to work tomorrow so don’t have to get up early but am still used to a three hour time change from Maui to California so I’m a little off right now. I will get one or two more tests in tonight and if I can’t stay up longer than that, I will leave higher carb food out for him.

Just not sure if I should keep him at 1U or
Go back up to 1.25U. What do you think?

Since you’re approaching the lagoon on 1u maybe it would be a good idea to hold that dose for a bit to stabilize the depot and then increase to 1.25 if he doesn’t stay down in blue :)

Nice numbers upon your return

Welcome back!! I don’t think anyone would be opposed to a couple of pics in your next condo if you feel like sharing! ;)

+4 is 102. I gave a small MC snack at +4 and left some LC snacks in the auto feeder and headed to bed. Looks like we should hold the 1U tomorrow.

Okay good idea! after his +4 being at 102, I agree that holding at 1U sounds good. I’m giving him a MC snack right now, just because I’m too tired to stay up to test anymore:confused: leaving some LC snacks in the auto feeder too. We’ll see if he can keep up these nice blue numbers on the 1U!

And of course! I will post some pictures from our Maui wedding and honeymoon tomorrow in my morning post!:cat:

It's really hard to tell what's been going on with Blaze with only pre-shot tests...so for now I'd hold that 1u dose, get as many mid-cycle tests as you can in order to see exactly what that's doing for him.

Welcome back! I hope it was a wonderful wedding and honeymoon!! :)
