This is the first time we've had a pre-shot this low. Wondering if we should give the full dose, cut 0.25, or stall and re-test., and this is the lowest nadir we've seen (+5: 69). We just don't have good data on numbers this low yet.
Spreadsheet is up-to-date.
 
With the low number of strips you have maybe you should shoot a reduced dose of 2.0 units. You'll still want to get at least one test tonight to make sure he's staying safe. Maybe get a +2. I cannot stay up with you tonight though.

No problem, thank you for the advice. It's nice to have suggestions from others.
We were considering giving the full dose given that her number came up by 16 points in 30min, but given that you are suggesting a reduction I think we will compromise and shoot 2.5 units.
 
You are in awesome hands with Carla ! And I feel your pain ab running short on strips . You think you have enough and then stuff happens and they get used quickly . You are doing an awesome job with Butterscotch . What a beauty :)
