I swear I feel like he’s bouncing somewhere and I’m not catching it
To me, it looks like he's just staying high instead of dipping much. I sure do hope after your vet appointment Wednesday, you can feel better about what's going on, and have some partial answers anyway. At least you'll know about the UTI. And discuss dental. Waiting and waiting is no fun! Plus, sweet Yoshi may just need more insulin. I bet progress is made by the end of the week;)

I sure hope so Jan. I also hope my vet doesn’t break up w me for upping the dose without her knowledge. Have a great day!!!

Just act respectful and confident, and hope for the best!
It still worries me about my own vet, but so far, it's fine. Meanwhile, there is a new cat only doctor in town who has caught my interest!

Still haven’t talked to my vet I emailed her and she didn’t respond. I’m going to drop off urine tomorrow or Wednesday.

Thoughts on an increase tonight? I can do a before bed shot, but tomo is my long day and I get in an hour (if I’m lucky) before pmps

This came up on my Facebook feed. How fitting for us

I’m a fan of Paula’s vet strategy! Smile and nod :P

Love your attachment. That is SO my life :)

I'd agree with an increase. Way too much red on that SS. Your vet really doesn't have to weigh in on how you're treating Catcat - certainly not at the level of evaluating every increase/decrease, etc. Just get the teeth and other things checked out. Be polite but don't focus on the diabetic element of Catcat's overall health...yep, he's diabetic, yep, I'm treating him. Keeping good records...uh huh, okay, I'll think about that...smile...move it along...

Yup, up you go.

If the vet gives you grief, hand over a copy of the TR protocol that is attached to the dosing methods sticky note. Hard to argue with a peer reviewed and published article.
