Well I don't know what made her glucoses go up, but she starting with her pattern of slowly coming back down each PS time. She has more pep in her step especially when it's feeding time, when laying on floor will chirp and roll for scritches when you walk by.

Just doesn't want to go below 5 units. If so it always causes us to go back up a couple of units.

Paula - good morning!
Ollie has been improving every day since the 11th on this dose. Sending love and Scritches to your precious Olive:bighug:
And wishes for a good day to You:bighug:

Nice to hear Olive's feeling GOOD! :joyful:

So I get email that Wedgwood is changing some suspensions. And changing places where some are made. OMG what does this mean for Ollie's cabergoline.

So I call first thing this morning and ask hundreds of questions. I'm like don't play around with this med. Reiterated she is diabetic and can not have sugar or sweetners in the inactive ingredients. Flavor needs to be the same (she loves it). If this meds changes, can I continue to have it special formulated anyway? I'm assured that the the cabergoline med is not changing formula wise. Just the bottle is on this med. I guess we will see what next refill holds in store for us.

Speaking of caber. The syringes I used for it since being in the motel measure by 0.2 so I was giving 0.84 for her dose instead of the 0.85. How much difference can that teeny amount make right????? Since the 11th she is back to 0.85 and been coming down again.

I'm so glad Olive is making pickles! Happy to hear she's feeling better too! I hope they get that compounding biz worked out in your best interest!

Have a great day Paula!

It feels good when we know why! Looks like that teeny bit makes a difference. :D
Just hope there won't be any changes for the cabergoline that will affect Olive!

She is not feeling good tonight. She looks sick, laying behind chair (her sick) spot. Waiting for her to hurl. Paper towels in hand. Not even a purr when I I scritch her head.

What's going on with little Ollie! Did she eat well? No lb problem no new food ? Hope she's ok!
How about for cabergoline, will they contact you to confirm any impact on the suspension you are using ?

I hope that if you have to reduce below 5 that Olive really means it this time and you won’t have To work all the way back up!

What is cabergoline? Hopefully the change really won’t have anything to do with formula.

Feel better soon Olive!

Cabergoline is the medicine for her acro (pituitary tumor) that is causing the diabetes.

It has helped and the symptoms are pretty much gone or greatly stalled out. And has decreased the amount of insulin she needs for now. Hoping to keep it that way, but tumor can have an active spurt at any time.
