Good morning all:bighug: Elmo woke me early , was 102 at + 9.5 so gave some MC trying to take some oomph from the possible bounce . Let's see where this cycle takes us :rolleyes::cat: Still shoot 1.5 in 40 minutes ? @carfurby

+ 4. 282. Giving thyroid meds and 1/2 t LC 5 plus 1/4 t MC 14 gravy ...feel like I'm holding a horse back that's straining at its reins :):woot::cat:

Elmo is just full of surprises, isn't he?

This is really very exciting-- despite hitting blues (and who knows what else???) last night, he doesn't seem to have any intention of bouncing today. He's learning it's OK! (and the early feeding strategy may be paying off, too)

If not for y'all I'd not have the confidence to do this :bighug: Having an experienced, caring backup team for Elmo means everything , Nan :bighug: Thank you , thank you , thank you ❤️ He is thrilled out of his gourd with these hourly tasty LCMC bits ....licks the plate clean :)

QUESTION ??????? Are there general tips as to when to stop steering ? And what to do after ? How long after steer stop do you watch to hope ( thinking of last night aka early this AM ) that the dive has leveled off ?

Elmo's "bounce" today seems much more tempered than it's been. And if Elmo is happy with his snacks all the better. Too bad you're on continual kitchen service though! Is Elmo tipping you well for your stellar table service? :p

Beth every cat is different. Elmo has been dropping drop like a stone, bouncing to the moon but he clears bounces quite quickly. He seems to do both rising and dropping abruptly whereas some cats just slide up and down those bounces. It's really just knowing your own cat and Elmo is being a bit unpredictable right now so it's hard to give you "general" tips that will work for him but I think I'd be looking for his drop to be a max of 30 (maybe even 20) points in 30 minutes before letting up a bit on testing right now.

I'd hold off and not feed him at all right now and see what he does. We want to keep the drops a little more gentle but not stop them. And I'd stick to LC if possible now.

What a great job of steering! Elmo is doing so well:cat::).
Thank you so much , Suzanne :cat: Been guided by wonderful , giving , experienced hands of Linda ( Mr Worfmens Mom) and Nan ( Nan and Amber) all day today . Could not do it without them ❤️ Hope your visit with family is going well and LT makes it happily thru :bighug:

Dare I wait until PMPS for next poke ??? So glad I bought the finer gauge lancets ...and have my old Relion Confirm ( Relion Prime as back up) .....

PMPS 365 .....Realized the mistake I use to make is not encouraging more eating after PMPS and then again after a high +1 but no more of that nonsense .....feeding 2 t LC 5 and then again after + 1 if high still ...my Friday night is certainly exciting :woot:
