Day 4 @ 2.75 Units Lantus

Good Morning All,

I got my flu shot yesterday and my arm hurts. I always get the same reaction to the flu shot, muscle hurts and arm is heavy. It's the same reaction as to a tetnus shot. I relax my arm when given the shot and I baby that arm afterward but it still hurts:banghead: .......hopefully by tomorrow I'll never know that I had it:)

I tested Yoyo's urine this morning and thank goodness all is fine, absolutely no glucose and no ketones. He's cured:smuggrin::smuggrin::smuggrin:..I only wish:Dbut there are much worse things in life, so we are just fine over here with what we have:):):):):):)

Woke up to lightening, thunder and rain...tropical storm is "a brewing out there". Our weather is windy and cooler due to the wind:)

Hope you are all doing Great or on your way to Great on this Friday the 13th:nailbiting:...Are you Superstitious ?

Debra, Yoyo looks fantastic ! Happy Friday to you and yours :)
Happy Friday to you too!! Yo is going through a fase. I hope it lasts and he doesn't bounce too hard when it's over. I hope Elmo slides down slowly and you get lower numbers soon. Stay safe Elmo:cool::D

Yoyo- good morning friend! You are looking hot precious boy. Tina wants to hang out with you today. She'd like get next to you, to see if she really is lavender point, or more blue like you:p A vet agreed she was lavender, but we don't really know!
In 1980, some drunks ran into my car parked at a friend's house, on a Friday the 13th. That's the only unlucky Friday 13th I can remember. I got hit head on by another drunk almost 3 years ago on the 13th, but it wasn't a Friday!!
Debra, I feel like I got punched in the arm for a couple days after a flu shot.
All good things to you and Yoyo and your dear dogs. I feel bad calling my dog a drooler!

Punched in the arm is exactly it!!! Yet my sister and mom never get the reaction that I do. I must be allergic to something in the non preservative shot....get my drift?

If Tina is lavender she will look MUCH lighter than Yoyo. She is beautiful no matter what coloring she is!! Can you send other photos of her?:cat:

WOW! Look at Yoyo go! Yes, he's gorgeous - as are the Siamese kitties. I used to have one and when I first met my DH he had two! They were very chatty. Is Yoyo a chatterbox? Luci on the other hand is quite stoic, never has much to say at all...

Sorry to hear about your shoulder - mine always gets sore too...I'm not up to a flu shot just now - but soon...always go and get it over with soon...

Have a wonderful day!

Awww...so sorry about the flu shot and arm. Ouch!

Look at your sweet boy!! Whhooopppeeeee:D I’m loving all that green!!

Have a great day, you two...and pups.

YoYo looking good.

I'm told the key to the flu shot is to keep moving your arm after not baby it. I've done that last couple of years and it helps. Had my shot on Tuesday. By Wednesday night the tenderness was gone.

Glad you are here to tell us about your terrible car accidents....stay safe along with Tina :bighug:
I am very glad to be alive! My new truck was a total, and the seat belt broke my left collarbone, which had to be surgically repaired.
This is a shot in the light so the color is true - tell me what you think! Blue? Mix? Her brother was seal point.

I'm glad you weren't hurt worse. That had to be scary.

On my end the photo is on the green side so I really can't tell anything. All I can see is a darker shade of what looks like grey so would make me think BLUE but I can't really see it in the right light....sorry:(

I'm having a lighting problem too . . . my cataracts are not helping:rolleyes:
She has some very light grey, then darker grey on her back. Maybe Yo can have a look out at the beach or lagoon today. I think they want to be blue together:) (never heard of green Siamese or Snowshoe types):D

You know what, you are absolutely RIGHT. I was trying to move it today especially while I was walking this morning but I think I was too late because it still aches. Hopefully by tomorrow it will feel better.
Thank you for the wise words, I will remember for next year:)...hopefully:joyful:

Too cute.....she is probably both blue and lavender. Wish you lived closer, we could visit.....Oh aren't you glad you're far away :p
