Shooting 1.5 ....after yesterday I will be a bit more vigilant early in cycle in case he decides to sky dive :nailbiting: :) Elmo likes to keep it interesting :bighug:

Sweet little Elmo, maybe a little less dramatic today? Come on back down to the lagoon but nice and easy, take your time...
Beth you did great yesterday, have a wonderful day today! :bighug:

Good idea! If he stays HI today (as he might-- he went down to 74 yesterday!), you can back off and give him another "break" cycle, but going forward it does seem as if Elmo often makes his intentions known early.

Good morning , Nan :bighug: We shall pretend we are jiggy to his tricks :) How is the Beautiful Miss Amber this morning ??? Extra scritches to her :bighug:

Oh, Elmo!

You can give his ears a break for a while now, he's pretty much parked himself. According to his recent patterns he might be planning to break the bounce tonight-- but there's also the skipped shot in the mix, so it might be a little longer. I doubt he's planning anything major for today, in any case. I'd probably test somewhere in the second half of the cycle-- maybe +9 or +10, so that if he's not HI at PMPS, you'll have a sense of how fast he's dropping. If you are nervous, you could also add a +6 test, just to make sure he isn't pulling an entirely new trick out of his furry little sleeve today, but I think he's going to be safe all day regardless.

Thanks , Nan :bighug: Elmo and his furry little sleeves:eek:

Jeez Elmo!!!

Cycle three is tonight, so he may be getting ready to party.

His time in 'good' numbers is getting longer it wouldn't surprise me if he cleared sooner.
I'd get a +7, then a +11 (as long as the ?+7 doesn't warrant an early check)
By getting a +11 you can see if he is staying flat pmps, or if he has already started to drop.

If the pmps is dropping, knowing that you are shooting a drop gives you the heads up to get some food in him earlier and check at +1, by +2 he's already been diving at a heck of a rate. Or you may choose to feed some higher low carb.

Sorry this is just a quick fly by, still struggling with eyes. Been to eye doc again today.

Good luck with you guy and both of you catch a nap or two, I've a feeling you will need the rest for tonight.

Sending healing vines and prayers to you, Gill :bighug:❤️ So appreciate your checking on Elmo with your insight and experience , even tho you are not fully well:bighug: Continue to take good care of yourself and BFG :bighug:

Also, Gill, under yours, Linda's , Nan's and Carla's watchful eyes I feel safe and confident :) What a Master Team Elmo has been blessed to assemble . :bighug: Have come to realize that first interventions with him must be , at the least, 1/2 LC 1/2 MC ....LC alone does not slow his roll. Rest and recuperate , focus on getting better:bighug:❤️

+7 460 ...going to feed 1 t LC and test in an hour to stop the deep cliff dive ...thoughts @Nan & Amber @MrWorfMen's Mom ??? Since prob a 200 drop should I add a bit of MC juice ??? Test in 30 or wait til +8 ??? Y'all know how he is sooooo....

Sounds good. I like the idea of just automatically going for LC+smidge MC early in the cycle. Let's see if we can make his dives a bit more shallow and gentle!

Edit: whoops! I defer to Linda on this-- she's right, we're getting close to PMPS. No MC for now!

I'm pulling triple duty today ...have Mr Elmo ( no explanation necessary)..... text counseling my daughter ab her job and my niece ab her horrendous ex...if I told y'all the stuff he's pulled you'd think I'm making it up

All of these "experiments" are informative!
:joyful:  :D :woot:  :arghh: :bighug::bighug::bighug::bighug: As my cute middle school teacher neighbor always says " If it's not fun make it funny !" She shared that with me years ago as we huddled around our Coleman camp stove making soup during an ice storm that left us without electricity for 8 days ....had to break ice on the pond to bring in to flush the toilet......but I digress ;)

Sue, my "plan" ( :joyful::joyful::D:kiss::eek:) is to get all the extra BGs from yesterday stacked in their proper place . They came fast and furious yesterday and last night I was in PJs by 5 and on my throne ( aka the couch) :woot: Scritches to Miss Luci :bighug:

I hear ya...things get crazy sometimes don't they :)

@LizzieInTexas Received the strainer you recommended today ( got 2 cos it's just what I do ) and of course it is awesome ...after all, it is Lizzie certified :bighug: Thanks for tip . Whenever he looks like a deep dive may be hatching I pre squeeze so I'm ready !!!

Beth, I won't be around tonight until sometime after 10pm. (9 your time) so don't think I'm ignoring you if you holler! :woot:

Elmo's smoothed out now which is great. Hope he drops just a tad more nice and slow! :)
