Thank you for your prayers and well wishes...I sure can use them. I feel like misery on two feet this morning. I guess some days will be worse than others - having a pity party...

Luci on the other hand is sailing along very nicely. I'm proud and happy for her. She sits there on her testing towel and purrs her little head off. She thinks that's a special time for us! She came up to the bed a couple of times last night and was purring then too...she flops down next to me and wants to be petted...then when I stop she vacates back to where ever she was sleeping previously...but comes back if I get up to go to the bathroom - oh goody, mama is awake and I'll get some more petting....

Have a great day everyone! I'm going to rest today with my meds and my ice packs...hopefully tomorrow will be a better day for me.

Thanks so much...I've just taken my meds and hope to be able to lay down and rest soon...DH will be up soon and he can take over the 'Luci watch' then...Hope you and Fig are doing well!
 
Very sorry that you aren't feeling any better. Hopefully tomorrow will be a brighter day for you and you will start healing. Today get in all the rest you can and think Happy Thoughts:bighug:....just think how food Luci is doing:D
 
I wish you were feeling a bit better today Sue but the first few days can be really hard and up and down. One of my sisters went through something similar last year, it really will get better.
Just keep resting and letting yourself heal. Glad your DH is there with you and also that Luci's comforting you with her purring and her amazing BG's.

Luci is just so cute! Even though I get my own kitty snuggles the way you describe luci’s makes me a little jealous - so SWEET!!

Take care of yourself today! Lots of rest and relaxation... and make hubby work his little tushie off for you!!
 
Ahh Sue, I'm so sorry you feel rotten. Luci is doing her best to help you. My bobtail Tux (I know Luci is a Manx), would keep me company after surgery, staying in bed with me. She gave more care than my trusty dog at the time.

Thank you! I've had ups and downs today...went back to bed this morning and rested - felt better for a while - then back to rest some more in the afternoon. This healing is taking a lot of energy :)

Awww...so sweet! Luci will lay on the bed, but not too close - she likes to keep her distance unless it's the wee hours of the morning...and then she comes closer and flops down and purrs loudly - I think she's fully aware of the time and inconvenience ... :rolleyes:

Thank you for your kind wishes :) Luci has had another stellar day in the lagoon...glad she's doing so well..it makes me feel better - mentally that she is :)
