Yep, back to those yellow bookends...and now we wait it out...let's see if Luci makes her quick trip to the lagoon this morning..seems it's her habit lately...up/down, up/down... I guess I'm used to it now...she certainly seems to be feeling quite well. Spunky and playful. We had ice cream last night - and she used to get some - but not anymore, obviously! So she knows when I open the freezer, the sound of the bowls, clinking of spoons...whatever - she sat and stared us down as we ate - and then when I tried to pet her she bit me - I really think she was mad at me for not giving her any ice cream...

Just had to share this - in light of @Jill & Scooter post yesterday about the kitties escapades with shopping bags - here's Luci's response to mama's grocery shopping trip - and yes, I'll be recycling all those darn bags - they don't offer any paper at that store - and I forgot to take mine in!

Luci just wants to show you anything you bring in to the house is hers and rightly so! I bet she thought the ice cream was going to be hers too!
And it looks like Luci prefers fresh lemons to bring down to the tiki hut!

oh my, another no-food biter -- Catcat's been doing that ever since diagnosis -- if he doesn't get food when he wants it, even if he's just finished a bowlful, he snaps at me .. then looks both ashamed and annoyed, doesn't bite down, may swat

with luck Luci will go swimmin' again and Catcat will probably come join her on the beach, maybe in the shallows

None of my kitties get ice cream licks anymore! How funny and surprising to hear about kitties biting when they don't get their way with food! Tina has given what I call love nips, when feeling frisky and goooood. One civvie does the same. Maybe they think I could be the food

At one time we had 5 cats and when we had ice cream each cat had a dish with a spoonful. Another of their favourite treats was whipped cream!

I've been wondering the same thing...kinda disappointed after her nice days lately - she actually went 11 days in a row with a lagoon visit...back to the same ole, same ole is disappointing...
