? Hi-Carb food suggestions for Limited Ingredient Diet?

Does anyone have a cat on a limited ingredient diet? and if so, what high carb treats or food do you use in your Hypo Kit?
Scout had been on Royal Canin Selected Protein canned venison for over 7 years, it’s carb content is high I know but it’s the only food that has kept his pancreatitis and poss. IBD issues from running wild. It’s carb content is 24% - would this be ok to feed in a hypo event then?

My IBD girl eats Instinct Rabbit recipe which is 6% carbs. I have the rabbit limited ingredient on hand for medium carb as it’s 13% carbs, as well as fancy feast salmon and shrimp in gravy which is 12%. 24% would definitely be considered a high carb food, but I’m not sure if the effect would be different since it’s his normal food? Maybe not though

I know, that’s what I thought too - would he react differently because it’s the same food he eats all the time, or would the extra meal be enough to help during a possible hypo or near-hypo event. ???
I wasn’t able to find a high carb LID food that’s higher than his current food.

You could always just mix some honey or karo syrup with his regular food if it doesn’t bring his BG up!
