9/5 LT AMPS 135 +2.7 153 +3 126 +7 143 PMPS 141 +2 149

Just looking at it now.
What is it you want to do or not do. Sorry don’t quite understand
Well we are down to 0.25U and he's been going low, so we just gave what probably is just one drop. Yesterday we had to be out of town, so we did a NS yesterday a.m. and .25 last night and he did a fast dive.

Ok. So you just have a drop just now. Is that correct?
Sorry no one answered you sooner. I know it’s scary on your own in the beginning

Sorry I'm not making much sense. Well, my husband worked at getting below the 0.25 and believe he gave a drop after practicing. Our syringes don't have much resistance, so counting drops is iffy. We've got calipers, but the amount for 0.1 would be like 1.4 mm. Sorry, I edited the caliper measurement.

That’s good you have calipers.
See how LT goes with a drop. You may have to go up to the .14 if he runs higher.
He hasn’t earned a reduction but he almost did the night before last with 69 twice.
You will still need to monitor him this cycle because of the depot. Can you do that?

Yes, I can monitor him - oh, his poor little ears are so sore. I gave him a lot of food the other night to keep him above the 68 on the pet meter; otherwise, I'm sure he would have dropped below the 68. So I should have given him the full dose of 0.25 this a.m.?

Glad you got some help. I wasn't on earlier. I just saw the tag. Make sure you get a +2 since the depot may affect this cycle. I hope you can get some rest soon. :bighug:

I can't believe it! I have a friend that's a pro at testing LT. I showed her once, and I'm going to write up everything, but she warmed the ear, poked him, carefully touched the strip to the blood and got a result the first time. I feel better knowing someone can monitor him when we have a day trip for personal business. Next will be showing her how to do the shots.

Leanne, my friend from church, has a mother who is diabetic and was like, "Oh, I've seen my mom do this a lot." LT warmed up to her, but not her young children - guess he never has been around little ones. She was calm and very matter of fact when she tested LT. Maybe holding on to a cat, for her, is easier than herding 3 kids:):smuggrin:.

I do believe that's key - cats sense apprehension and fear. I was such a train wreck when I started...I'd sing to Luci or just talk to her like a baby..lots of chatter...it helped me calm down and apparently her too... :)
Leanne was the opposite of me when I started. He's really only rowdy at meal time and I've developed a hold with him backing into the corner of my recliner. I like to think I "broke him in" for others in regards to testing.:p

Looks like I get to go to bed with DH tonight. And it looks like LT will get a little ear pokey break tonight. Thanks to all who have been helping us along the way:)!
