Good morning all!
Funny, after reading about Olive finding bits of sunshine, Tina did the same - found her a nice sunny place to lounge. Tina is doing even better! It has been a month since we started the Zobaline. She's had nice numbers too.
I haven't given her Metacam for two days. It started as an accident because I couldn't find the dosing syringe. She is consuming bits of the CBD capsule contents throughout the day. She spit some up when I gave too much at a time. So, I'm giving 5 mg CBD (holistapet) daily. I'll be watching closely, hoping to see even more improvement in movement and attitude. She's feeling gooooood! A feisty, fun attitude is shining through. As her neuropathy keeps improving, then I'll try decreasing the Gabapentin.
If my ideas ever sound off, let me know!

One more thing . . . I'm thinking of increasing from .62 to .68 - which is about halfway between her last dose (.75) and current dose. Does that sound/look right?

Enjoy this day
:):cool::D

It's so great to hear that you see such a difference in Tinas Neuropathy! I hope that the CBD works wonders for her :)

I see no reason why you couldn't try the 0.68u give it a try and if it doesn't work out... no sweat, back to 0.62 :)

It's funny, I was going to tell you that I thought that Tina's SS looks so good. No yellows for almost a month. Please remember that you use a pet meter.
Glad to read that Tina is feeling better. Brings such Joy when one's pet acts and feels so much better.
Surf safely little girl :D:bighug:

Joy, yes! I definitely appreciate your reminder (I use the AT meter and Tina would look a lot greener with a human meter) and I study Yoyo's spreadsheet(s). I just wonder if I pushed her numbers down a tiny bit, if that would help remission chances. Or should I leave what looks good (and safe) alone. She is in healthy numbers. Plus, I received her new no sugar Gabapentin today!! It would be fun if I noticed a difference in the +3 and 4 numbers, even starting tonight!

So good to hear Tina's feeling better :joyful:

Tina is in healthy safe numbers and I understand what you're trying to do. My opinion is to take baby steps and due lots of test strip testing if you make any dose changes.

I am nowhere near as experienced as most of these people on this board but I use a pet meter too, and when yoshi was getting those numbers on prozinc, I slowly whittled down the dose (w the help of this forum) and he went off the juice for 2 1/2 years. Some of it too was cutting out dry food And only giving him two cans a day no matter how many things he knocked off the table

Those blues and greens are amazing!

I'm glad Tina is moving around better. You don't have a lot of room to increase. The current dose has already gotten her to 80.
Thank you Carla. I'm good with not pushing any lower. I just wanted to make sure I wasn't messing up!
Sonia has helped in this regard too, and I thank you both. I would also like to ease up on testing a little, which I couldn't do with any increase.
She just had her first dose of no sugar gaba:):) So, I can still work on smoothing things out a little better with snacks too. I just found today that the dinner I fed on the night of her last yellow was 6.6% carbs instead of the usual 3-4%.

This is great for me to think about. Truly, thanks!:bighug::bighug:

How is Nelli? I've missed your posts!
I didn’t/don’t post when Nelli is staying flat regulated. I think about it bc I miss interacting with our friends... but I only have b.o.r.i.n.g info to report regarding her diabetes ;).
Nelli (sadly :() has, non related to her diabetes, issues.
Thanks for your caring words though :)... appreciated :bighug:

Good plan! You have to feel comfortable with the way you're dealing with all this ! :) Surprise for the 6.6% carb but a good explanation for the yellow! ;)

Krystina, after I asked, I started reading your SS. Kisses to Nelli. She's just so so sweet looking - a little charmer.
