? pmps 20.7 and+4=6.7………do I need to worry hypo?

It's still quite safe, but that's a pretty big drop. I don't know that I'd be worried about hypo yet, but I'd definitely get another test tonight just to make sure there was no more funny business in store.
 
Fa is quite safe at the moment but I would definitely test again @+4.5 or so to see if Fa is still dropping. Looks like nadir was about +6 a couple of nights ago. If Fa is still dropping, I'd feed a little LC food to try to keep the surf going at a safe level and retest again to see if/how much BG has gone up before letting my guard down.

Thanks will do. Yes it's first time so low after diagnosis so it makes me concerned. Should I keep the dose tomorrow morning? we won't be home though.

Sure. I definitely will be checking until +6.
 
If Fa's BG were to drop to 50 or lower tonight then you would reduce the dose to 4.5u tomorrow on TR. Chances are good that Fa is going to bounce a bit again tomorrow given that lowest reading already tonight so unless BG drops low enough to earn a reduction, you'd just hold the current dose.

We got a 7.7/139 at ten minutes to +5. looks like it is safe to stick with 4.75 u tomorrow I think?
 
Did you feed Fa anything between the 6.7 and 7.7 readings? BG may be on the way up now but that could just be meter variance. Right now it looks like 4.75u will be fine, but I'd still keep an eye on things till +6.

Yes I did feed her some food in between. Should I have not, so as to find the real nadir?

Usually Fa gets her Nadir at +5 and I guess she got it lower at +4 today instead because her play time was earlier than usual. She is in indoor cat by the way.

I did manage to test +6 (ten minutes earlier than +6) and it was 148. Guess I can sleep without worrying now. :)
 
No problem feeding her. Just curious if she was rising on her own or if it was food influenced at all. She looks to be coming up now so go get some ZZZ's
