The difference is that your insulin is less concentrated than U100 insulin so at a dose of 1u of Vetsulin for example you would draw up 2.5 units of insulin in a U100 syringe because it is skinnier than the U40 syringe. This means that you have more markings on the syringe to make .2u adjustments with. We have a conversion chart so no math is required.....you just look on the chart and draw accordingly.
