She had spit up this morning. A bit punky today. And having more stridor last couple of days. She is eating but not enthusiastic about it last night or so far today. I wonder if it's acro flare or p'titis flare starting. I've been a bit remiss in her subq fluids lately, can't imagine why. She has gotten them at least once a week, but sometimes it's 10 or 12 days in between. She will get them today.

She use to bop between with 6-6.5 units for awhile. I guess she is going to do the same with 5-5.5 units.

Home depot run for wasp/hornet spray and other stuff today. Should have some pickles needing to be picked and canned today also.

Bring it on down there Olive
When should I be expecting some homemade pickles, Paula omg yummy!

:woot::woot: How do you manage to do all this! Hope your husband is doing well and little Olive gets back to her nice numbers!
Be very careful with the nest !

I hope it's by being organized. Since house was cleaned yesterday for company, didn't have to do anything there. Brine made ahead of time, so it just needs heating up. So jars go in hot water while slicing pickles. When first batch went in water bath (10 minutes) Ollie got her subq fluids. When 2nd batch went in water bath, load of laundry was started.

Husband doing well. Tomorrow is 2 weeks post up already.

Could it have been a bounce the last 6 cycles, I wonder and she has now cleared it? Are we back to 3 day bounces?????

You know what you're doing and are so well organized! All those yummy pickles jars just waiting...:) I pickle sometimes, but it takes me the whole day..... !
Nice to see everything is going well for you!

Wow what nice greens for Olive yesterday!

Glad hubby is doing so well. Paula, you must be super organized with all you have going on and still able to can pickles! Do you sprinkle salt across your cucs for at least 3 hours then rinse before canning? My recipes calls for that step. It makes the pickles super crisp.

You mentioned that last year I think. I tried that, kosher salt I think you mentioned. I didn't notice a difference, I also put the crisp granules in each jar. I cut them as sandwich sliced and I think some slices just come out to thin and some are over ripe cuz I wasn't home to do them. I can only get the seedlings in 2 places here. One place theirs are terrible, you get 1 pickle and the plant is done. The other place has nice seedlings, 2nd year using them but it only one type they sell. Next year I'm going to order seeds also and plant with seedlings. And we are planning to rebuild and remediate the pickle bed. Husband has a year to get back into shape for it.
