Haha oops I just realized I put the month wrong on yesterday's post. It is not still July. :p

Alice has a nice internal clock this morning, as did all the other animals, and everyone knew it was time for feeding and for Alice, that sharp ugly testing. I can tell she tolerates it but she always anticipates it now and shrinks away just a little riiiiiight before a poke. It makes me sad every time, just a smidge. But it doesn’t stop her from sitting all the way down for me, allowing me to grab her scruff, getting out all the supplies which each have specific noises and motions.......
We sold some treats to get new treats though and yay we finally have some freeze dried duck type things on their way to us. She was always excited about those, even more than the chicken and catnip ones which I thought she would adore, and the salmon ones!!! So we will.... make shot time fun again. Lol.

We are back in bed for a bit. She’s nosily listening to what the Ginger Boys are up to, between bouts in the Important series of post-breakfast washes..

And of course, I love Alice. Alice lalala.......

Hope all are well! <3

Nice blue start! And whoooo hooo new treats, we just received some new duck cat food, we shall see how it goes, they have had it before but it’s been awhile
I’ve been interested in looking for duck but I don’t think I could afford it! Is it novel protein enough to sometimes be a little easier on their tummies? The reason we do the chicken and liver friskies is because she mostly seems to tolerate it if that’s all she has..... but I wish I could feed her better than that, I think her tummy could do a little better......... she is bothered by fish, the turkey and giblets friskies and really the whole poultry pack except the c&l kind of....... anyway. I hope Bella enjoys his duck! You should toss it to him and yell “duck!” and see if he gets the joke. :p

I fell back asleep harder than I expected so we got in a later test. She looks like she is having a pretty flat day...... would you call it likely safe to leave the house in a bit?
