I haven’t posted in a long while. Bubba is status quo. Still on 2 drops. I want to try a trial tomorrow night since I won’t be home for shot time. Fingers crossed.

OT: Mom is good, she’ll be 92 on Tuesday. BG is good and UTI gone. I started her D-mannose with her 2nd AB and so far so good.

We still are adjusting to life without Forrest. So many daily reminders... Interestingly , Bubba hangs out on the kitchen stoop outside a lot now which was Forrest’ s spot. I’m happy he’s close by.

I’m having an issue with my left eye. PVD, Posterior Vitreous Detachment. Floaters and flashes of light. I’m at risk for my retina detaching, so being careful. No heavy lifting, ball sports or bouncing. Limiting time on the computer as it’s disorienting.

I'm so sorry to hear about your eye & send thoughts & prayers that it will NOT detach your way!

I'm happy Bubba is there to help with the adjustment. They have such distinct personalities & are woven into our days so tightly that its so hard when they are no longer there. I hope his memories at least provide some comfort.

Wow! Happy Bday to your Mom :)! Thats awesome that she is going to be 92!

I'm glad Bubba and your mom are doing well. I'm sorry about your eye. I hope there is some treatment for it. Sending prayers.
 
Glad to see Bubba is behaving. Good to see your post! It's been a while! So sorry to hear about your eye - I know that can be very frightening. My 89 year old mom just suffered from a retinal occlusion - and it appears that her vision is going to be permanently impaired in that eye. Even after the injections she received in the eye itself there has been minimal improvement. We go for a final assessment next week. So, please follow the doctor's orders - rest as much as you can. Hope they can catch it in time. Sending you healing vines! :bighug:
 
Good to hear from you Bobbie!! Happy that Bubbs is good and that you are starting a OTJ trial! And what a grand update on your mom!! That sure sounds good! Please take care of your eye! I can only imagine how scary it is!!!!
 
Be careful ,about your eye. I read it can take a few weeks or up to a month to get better. Fingers & toes crossed for Bubba!

Deputy Bubba has things in hand. It is touching that he is hanging out in Forrest's spots. They must be communicating.

Happy birthday to your mom! I'm glad that she'll be celebrating in much better health.

Take care of your eye, Bobbie. I'm sure it will clear up. I had a vitreous thing years ago. It made straight lines on paper appear to be bent. It went away by itself.

I love that you said that! I so agree. And I’m quite happy that he is staying closer to home. He never did before. :bighug:

And , I’m glad your eye issue resolved and I’m hopeful mine will too. :)
