7/30 Oscar AMPS 266, +6 128, PMPS 161

Nice to see those upper greens on the spreadsheet yesterday. Looks like Oscar is holding his reduction.:)

Following on yesterday’s conversation, I used to give Neko a small zero carb snack at +9, so she wouldn’t chew my leg off. :p Ideally you don’t want to feed any carbs after nadir when the insulin effect is waning. Otherwise you will shorten duration and result in higher preshots.

What are you using for pokie treats? Neko looked forward to her tests.

Thanks Wendy! I keep forgetting to add previous threads because I'm posting quick from mobile!! I'm getting the hang of it. I have been giving him freeze dried treats after each test, which he enjoys, and it's been going really well lately honestly. Today he seems to just want some peace!

Thanks for the tip on the snack, I've been trying not to feed him after +6, but when I get home from work hes ready for dinner (+10/11)

It is nice to finally see him without pink or red for a whole day!

PS: The dose is missing on the SS for this morning. ;)

Fixed! I feel like I'm being too hopeful about these numbers. But it's so great to see an improvement.

I'm feeling a little slighted by the vet...l called and asked questions about his shot time for boarding, no return call. Called the next morning (day of boarding) told they were really busy the day before, would get back to me, and no call back. Didn't show up, and haven't heard from them at all! I feel like I should take this as a red flag, but the vet was so willing to work with my food/testing requests, and the tech was very supportive and invested. Should I give them another shot and try to talk to them or just look for someone who's less "really busy today, sorry".

Might've just been a grumpy person answering the phone -- and not the person who will be taking care of Oscar. But I get it, you want someone invested in your kitty's needs.

Yeah, I've made note of her in person, I guess it's just not getting a call back still that has me worried. Anyway, my hopefulness got the best of me, 428@+3.5
