Oscar had me up at 530 this morning by throwing some ceramics off the counter. I did give him a little food then because he was likely going to break something else... so AMPS has some food influence. Hoping he comes on down today after a lazy red day yesterday!

I seem to be running into this problem, hes always getting hungry at +10 or 11, and I feel bad holding off until shot time. Should I up his kcal during the day? I don't want him to gain too much, but man was he feisty this morning.
 
LOL Oscar sounds like a character! I would say upping his food a bit during the day wouldn’t hurt. Do you mix water in with his food? That could be enough filler to keep him full.

Try to remember too that cats are much hungrier when their BGs are way up because they don’t process nutrients properly. It’s ok to feed them more until they’re regulated. I think I would up his kcals during the day :)

@AmandaE thanks, that's what I was thinking..he gained most of his weight back pretty fast so I was worried to overdo it. I dont usually add water but i can try that too... when he licked my salt lamp I gave in and gave him a little food :joyful:

LOL!! Oscar is easily working his way into my heart. I dig and sympathize with his mega hungry vibes ;)
 
PMPS 133, a little nervous to shoot but +2 242! Looks similar to a few nights ago.

My meter shows 7,14,and 30 day average and just a week ago they were so high! Seeing my 7 day down to 275 was encouraging!
