Im going to delay for 30 minutes and not feed and retest. Any advice is welcome, I'm still not fully comfortable shooting under 90.

I will be able to test most of the day (but family coming from out of town to stay today) and have a hypo kit ready.

My gut is telling me he'd be fine with the normal 0.5u. He is hungry and will eat which will bring it up. Having others sanity check me would be nice :bighug:

If he doesn't drop by your next test, I think you can shoot since you are home to monitor. He's been flat since +10 last night. If you do shoot, make sure you get a +1 and a +2.

Schedule would be 45 minutes off right now, I dont know if thats too much? I can walk it back in 15m increments every cycle just fine if that's acceptable.

Just tested again at 45m delay

63

Shot time in pm was 8:45 CST

He's not coming up. You may want to skip or try a reduced dose. However, even with a reduced dose he could still drop some this cycle. You don't have a lot of data on shooting low.

More info also, Kee vomited up some water about 30m ago. He's very hungry, following me everywhere I go around the house meowing.

Shoot 0.25 and monitor closely? I think thats what I'll do after I retest in 8 minutes.

was 65 after the hour delay

shot 0.25

he's inhaling his food

On a side note what is the best way to document this in the SS, I started a new line with the same date as my new 0 (shot time)

will repost at +1

It's confusing if you add another line. You can stack the numbers in the AMPS cell. You'll probably have to manually color it.

+1.33 44

He wouldn't eat any of the gravy I offered, tried both chicken and beef FF gravy lovers.

He did just eat a full can of ff fish and shrimp right after his shot so I thought maybe he's just full.

Offered about a tsp of fish and shrimp with a few drops of karo and he gobbled it up. Retest in about 20 @ +2

He doesnt seem to have any problem eating the fish and shrimp... anything else though he doesnt touch.

+2 46

He seems fine, but I'm watching him like a hawk. Should I do another tsp and 2 drops of karo?

49

fed another tsp + 2 drops karo (its so think drops are kind-of big)

test in another 20

Thanks for all your help @carfurby Its nice having someone along side you.

He ate only about 1/2 of what i offered (1ish tsp) He seems to think its nap time, not sure if thats a good or bad sign. I'll continue to keep an eye on him and test again soon.

That's good. The idea is to keep him above 60 for 2 hours after the last time you fed. You may want to test in 30 minutes to make sure the food and karo aren't wearing off.

What a day!
FF also makes Grilled Tuna - 12% carbs gravy, works great on my cat.
If Kee prefers seafood over Beef or Chicken FF gravy you can try Tuna instead, maybe he'll like it better.

Thanks I need to look for that, I rumaged through my stock and did find a can of Gravy lovers Salmon and Sole, I might try that next when needed.

It looks like he's going to stay up now. Don't forget he earned a reduction today. So you'll want to continue the reduced dose of 0.25 units as the new dose. Good job today.

Yup that was the next thing I was going to confirm... that he did earn a reduction.

Thanks for all your help again @carfurby
