Ollie doesn't seem to like being home. I set up the micro feeder like I did when in motel and she doesn't use it as much. I guess she likes climbing my leg instead.

Lots to do today, laundry, pickles, grocery shop, finish unpacking. Geez I'm already tired thinking of it all.

I agree with Lyane, only do what's necessary and what you feel like doing...revel in how much you've done in the past weeks and the fact that YOUR DH IS COMING HOME SOON! :bighug:
Have a wonderful happy day! :)

Husband just callef. He said they are pushing for discharge today. So I got to get me butt in gear and get stuff done. Hubby said no point in driving there until we know for sure, so I should do the errands I need to do until we know for sure. So off to the bank and groceries I go.

Oh wow! that is a quick release! It will be really nice for your husband to be home though, he must really be looking forward to it.

I hope everything goes well for you today, take your time and drive safe

Despite all of the work you have lined up for yourself I hope you have a great Friday and enjoy your weekend :)

that is a quick release!

Hospitals rarely keep people for very long these days - I had my kidney removed (due to CA) they sent me home the next day - ouch!

But I have to say - being in the hospital is about the worse place you can be for recovering - JMHO - makes me very nervous to be hospitalized and have to depend on medical professionals to get it right - every time.

Welcome home DH! Hope it's today - get your nurse cap on Paula - I presume it's all on you to take care of DH and everything else - it was for me when DH had his knee replacement - I didn't know which end was up at times! Best of luck to you!!:bighug:

Glad that your DH is coming home tomorrow (today would have been nice, but I guess the upside it that you have a more time to get everything done before you pick him up). I scrolled through some of your previous condos - so sorry to read about all of the health issues. I hope it'll be a smooth recovery from here on out.

have to get my cap out of moth balls literally. It's probably so yellow by now. I think the hard part will be keeping his family away on Sunday. My gosh let him get home, settled in a a good night's sleep before they swarm in. I can tell you I'm not going to wait on them. Maybe I will take a nap if they show up.

keeping his family away on Sunday.

My DH told his sisters not to come over! He said he didn't feel like company - and they were polite enough to keep their distance. I told them that he was grumpy - so it would probably be best just to let him rest - he sees them all the time anyway.

Perhaps he needs to do that - or at the very least tell them to wait until next weekend - everyone needs some time to recover from surgery without feeling like they have to entertain company :)

My husband will never say no to his family or any of his friends. He only has the one brother left so I don't really like telling him no and he can only visit in Sundays. All the nieces and nephews I told them to wait until Monday before even calling him. His friends probably will just keep the phone ringing.
