We had a not great cycle last night that I was unfortunately awake to see because I was up late working - I'm so tired of these pinks. Fingers crossed for at least some more yellows. Itching to increase but I know I should wait to do a curve.

Have a great day everyone :bighug:

Come back from the moon, space cat!

Yes for sure, never increase without a curve! if you are dying to increase early then do a curve :) There is an option to do an 18 hour curve with 3 hour intervals... it might be easier to fit into a nighttime curve... I have done that before, just set an alarm for every 3 hrs during the night :)

Hope you have a great day Armish :)

I am tempted to do that 18 hour method tonight, but I don't want to throw off my weekend to weekend curve schedule for every 7 days cuz then it'll keep landing midweek - maybe I'll do that Friday PM so I can evaluate and potentially increase as early as Saturday morning if he needs it and have four full cycles to monitor this weekend.

It would be great if before then he'd be like "psh nah mom I don't need an increase, I like my tiny dose" but not likely :p

The vet scheduled his echocardiogram for Tuesday so we won't find out if its heart disease or not until later next week :nailbiting:

Have a great day as well Amanda! :bighug:

As soon as you get a couple of mid-cycle tests, you'll know much more - not sure about an entire curve...but it would help to know how low the current dose is taking Roo...waiting is hard :)

Unfortunately I can't get those mid cycle tests in the day since work has been crazy pants bananas lately, but maybe I can wake up the next few nights to get the +5 or +6s on this dose. I got last nights and it just made me sad :(

Am I feeding incorrectly to control the curve? I used to not feed inbetween shots but then kept reading it was bad so now he gets 1 can FF and shot around 8am, 1 tbsp around 10am, 0.5-1tbsp around 12:30pm, 1 can and shot around 8pm, 1 tbsp around 10pm and then sometimes more around 12pm. Is that right, or should it be different timing? I'm so confused as to how he reacts to food, sometimes he goes up and sometimes he goes down and its at different times. :blackeye:
