Good afternoon!
Both the kitties are doing great! :cat::cat: Small Kitty has his followup from the dental this afternoon. Just to take a peek and make sure everything is healing as it should be. We are under an excessive heat warning so I will need to cool off the car before taking SK to the vet. The heat index is already at 99. Yikes!

How is Sebastian doing? I hope his seizures have diminished. Will BB move with Sebastian or will you bring him back with you early?

Sébastien is doing well. Unfortunately he still has seizures. They keep changing medicines, but it isn't helping. He is still waiting to have the deep brain monitoring test that they ordered in January. I told him, don't worry, we will get it done here. Big Brother is going to stay with Sébastien. BB is very attached to him and Sébastien needs to have a cat with him. He will fly him down here when he moves here.

I hope SK is not costing you as much sleep as before. I wish I could say the same for Boris. I adore him, but he's driving me crazy!
SK has been much better about letting me sleep! There are nights where he is quiet the entire night and it is amazing! If he does meow now, it is only once or twice and doesn't go on forever. I think the zyklene is really helping. Boris, please let your momma bean sleep! It is very important!:bighug:

Have a great day!

Glad to see everyone is looking ok...yes, good day to chill the car before getting in - or keep it in the garage - my garage is currently too full - classic corvette on one side, lawn mower and DH crap of some kind on the other - stuff for the lawn, the pool...he's been working on it...but oh ... so slow!!! I'd like to get my car back in that somewhat cooler garage myself!

Hope things go well for SK at the vetty...sending vetty vines for her. Osha be good while little sis is off to the vet.

Have a great day Amanda!

We are back from the vet. SK's mouth has healed up nicely. There are no issues. :cat: She did once again ask me for a curve. *sigh*

Osha is due for her 6 month check up next month, but with school starting and me going to Montreal, I went ahead and scheduled her for next Thursday. I am just going to tell them she is in remission and not on insulin. If I tried to tell them she was on 2 drops I am sure they would have an issue. They don't want any numbers below 80 and it just isn't worth the nagging. They keep telling me they want numbers between 100-200. I am just tired of it. I never ask for diabetes advice from the vet.

The heat index is up to 106 now. I am staying inside for the rest of the day!

I hear ya... I don't ask but I have told them she is a diabetic - just like a TV commercial I try to tune it out - listen and say, uh huh and hmm...ok...I'll keep you posted - I have no intention whatsoever of keeping them posted. Just let it roll off your back...as with most vets they don't know nearly as much about FD as this group does... Good for you for not saying anything one way or the other... I'm sure if you said 'she's only on one drop' it would just open the door to more needless questions and responses you may not be willing to provide....just more uh huh...ok...whatever...I'll keep you posted :) :)

Wow what a day to be out and about. Hope you all can stay cool...and that this heat wave cools down. After yesterday’s deluge of rain here, this morning was gloriously cool-ish....afternoon and right now a different story, ugh.

Yay for the Empress and Small Kitty doing so well! :bighug::cool::D:bighug:

The big deal is happening next Wednesday 7:30am at the US ambassade in Montreal. Will need all your thoughts so it goes smoothly by 9h30am I'll have my "Welcome to the United States" pamphlet on hands.

*Small Kitty : Daddy and your brother are coming soon !!!
Good to see ya :). Prayers for smooth sailing on into the US of A!
