Best of luck on your knee surgery this morning! I'm glad to see Bella is relaxing on the beach - I'm sure he's already got the Tiki Hut open and is inviting all the kittiehs to come join him this morning for catinis - breakfast on the beach can really be fun - it's a toasty day out there already - later this morning when it really gets hot - they can all head off somewhere shady for their morning naps; or is that mid-morning nap...or perhaps the mid-day nap - you get the idea - lots of napping today - or possibly a lot of kittiehs will be surfing in the lagoon - it would be a really great day for that! Just get your mental image of all those kids out there surfing and frolicking in the cool water - makes me want to join in :D:D

Relax and rest - post when you're feeling better. I'm sure Bella will be all over you when you get home because you will smell 'funny' :bighug::bighug:

Hey there! You look like 'The Mummy' - well at least one leg's worth of mummy - hope the kids are doing well - I'm sure they missed their mama a lot! It looks good - you relax and keep that foot elevated - you'll be back on your feet in no time - and wishing you were back in your easy chair.

Dr called and said he did fix it all, said it would start hurting later, he did say he put numbing meds inside but it would wear off, it’s wearing off sooner than later, took my pain pill at 1:30 and it’s starting to hurt more and more, hard to ice with all the wrapping, he said it could come off on Sunday unless it’s bleeding some

Throbbing!:(
 
Use the pain meds as needed. Theresa had hip replacement this year and it took a couple days for the pain to kick in. Glad to see you are fine. I didn't know they also tattoo'ed ankles during the surgery.:eek::joyful:

Glad to see Bella is doing good too. The depot kept him a down a bit for the PMPS test.

Lay the ice packs right on top of all that wrapping/bandages - the cool will work it's way thru. Icing will help minimize swelling...

Hang in there Jamie - this is the tough time - sending hugs and prayers for you to feel better - or at the very least - have enough pain meds to knock you out... I hate having surgery :(

Hi Jamie,That's one "SEXY" leg there :p

I used bags of frozen veggies wrapped in a towel (peas work best, it kinda molds to your leg) You can put something waterproof first on the knee then the towel with the frozen veggies.
Hope you're able to sleep tonight :bighug::bighug::bighug: Each day it will get a little better :)

Maybe put pillows under the leg to elevate it higher than your heart.

Don't know what's wrong with him... his numbers are almost in PINK today...:( I'm starting to blame it on the 106°F; he's a winter cat and doesn't like hot summers. I'm sure you understand him !:p Hope that's the problem, otherwise I don't know...
Don't forget to put your leg up, it's important and go for the frozen peas! Hope your pain meds help you sleep a little! :bighug:

Well Bella behaved until you got home, and then got busy. One hell of a drop from PM. Hope he stays safe for you and lets you rest. Keep your feet up and hope the pain meds help you sleep.:bighug:
