Ugh, Luci is still loving on that yellow... I'm sure hoping that increase helps her see her way to the edge of the beach today - where hopefully she can join the boys @Bellasmom - Bella and @JoyBee&Ravan - Ravan - who have both been enjoying the cool waters of the lagoon lately - while Luci sits way up on her hill in the hot sun - silly cat!:(

It's the same temperature here this morning as it is in Naples, Florida:eek: and just as humid - it's a rare occasion when we start our day here in Michigan as warm as Florida - and that's all they want to talk about on the local news - oh my goodness - we're all very out of our element here - break out the ice packs and think about those grey winter days that are endless here - I'm happy to see the warmth because it won't be here long - looking forward to getting into our pool this afternoon - maybe Luci will find her pool too :D

Sending prayers and special thoughts to @Bellasmom and @JoyBee&Ravan.

Have a great Friday everyone!

Luci, the guys are all waiting for you at the Beach! Come on, bathing suit and sunglasses...
Good luck with the dosecrease !
Enjoy your hot weather Sue :p and have fun in the pool today!

It took Ravan about 4 weeks till I saw an improvement with the Levemir. Very gradually the pinks got less & less. (I was discouraged at times) 8 months till the Pinks went away.
I still freak out when his BG goes up !
I'm glad I switched to Levemir. It's nice they use less insulin. A pen lasts me over 3 months, I use it to the last drop.
I thought it was a bit cooler in Michigan than Chicago? But it sounds like your temp is same as here. 90 degrees & Humid! I do not enjoy the heat! I'd be very happy if it stayed in the 60's :D

Luci, that is a lot of yellow! Come on down to some cooler blues please!

This heat is just off the charts. Yuck! Stay cool!

I remember watching Ravan's SS when he was on his Lev journey - I was hoping to see some improvement in his crazy numbers - because I remember your despondency and how upsetting it was to see his numbers all over the place - and he was a real head-banger too - reds often... too often...and his bladder would leak when his numbers got too high...

I am so glad that he's doing so well on Lev! Now if he'll just slide on to the falls - we won't even say the word...he'll be ready when he's ready... And I agree with you 100% about the insulin lasting - I've never had one go bad - I kept my first vial for a year - the pens usually last almost 3 months - getting every drop of that expensive stuff is important around here :)

Yes, it's darn hot out there...says the 'feels like' temp is 100 degrees - DH just got in the pool...I may just take a break from everything and go join him...time to leave Luci in that darn yellow tree and go swimming myself - I'll show her what she's missing :)

Stay inside and stay cool JoyBee! Give those kitties a scritch from me :):cool:

I don't have the air on till night! Can't afford it. Got a fan blowing on me :)
OH NO! I think you might want to think about springing for it - just for today and tomorrow - it takes a lot of energy to cool off all the hot stuff in your place...next week it's going to cool off...

Our electric bill will be on the moon next month - ugh :(
