Yesterday

Perhaps a bounce from her shark chasing adventures last night? She was in the lagoon from PMPS until 6+. A long night for DH...I know he had the alarm set for 1:30 a.m. and got up to check on her...she was out of the lagoon and appeared to be headed back up the beach...

We'll see how she likes it at the beach today - sure would love to get rid of those yellow bookends on Luci's day.

Here's a pic of our girl - waiting for her 'screen shot' - actually she thinks it's testing time and this is where we do it...but there's usually a towel there - she didn't feel like waiting for the usual preparations :)

Have a wonderful day everyone!

Nice going last night Luci! Such a pretty girl posing for the picture! Love your table Sue! Have a great day!

Nice night for Luci at the lagoon. And she is only on .75 Units. Surf safely little Luci with all the kitties at the beach and the lagoon:cool::D

Isn't that the tiniest thing!!! I was so used to drawing up 2 units - or at least more than 1 - it seems so strange to have to back it off to .75 ... I'm liking the fact that she seems to need so little Lev to get her to the lagoon - and she seems to be tolerating the injections better too - no wincing - so perhaps the Lantus was in fact stinging (apparently it's got a rep that it does)...otherwise, all systems are go here... Hope Yoyo is having a good day as well...I'll visit some condos in a few :)

( Is that a counter in your Kitchen Luci's laying on? BEAUTIFUL!, what's it made of?)

It's granite; here are a few pics of the kitchen - we had it renovated a few years ago - new granite, new hickory cabinets and new appliances, new wood flooring. The kitchen prior to that had been renovated about 10 years before - white cabinets with black granite - it was pretty but we were tired of that 'look'...figured it was time for an upgrade. Sorry about the glare - it's from the skylights ... :)

Kitchen is Beautiful! Cabinets, Floor, I especially love the counter top! & the lighting .It's definitely things I would select for my house. I also love color ! The walls in my kitchen are painted a bright coral. My home needs a ton of work but no $ to get it done :(

After going to Architectural Design school I had so many ideas! Maybe the next time around! ;)

My favorite part of the reno was the drawers - I asked the contractor to eliminate all the lower cabinets and install big drawers! I use those drawers for everything - dishes, pots/pans, paper products, spices, utensils/silverware - I worked with the designer at the kitchen cabinet place and she was very nice and included everything I'd ever dreamed of as far as maximizing the space and minimizing the wear and tear on my back - I'm too old to be getting down on the floor to locate a pan buried in the back of a cabinet - now they just slide right out for me to chose whatever I'm looking for. The only cabinets with doors are under the sink - and I have slide outs for the trash cans there - the rest is occupied by the garbage disposal and an under-cabinet water heater. I enjoy it and am appreciative of it :)

My kitchen was redone 17 yrs ago :arghh: I also had drawers put in. I really like the drawers better also. My kitchen is really small, but now that I'm alone it works fine for me :)
I see these Huge Kitchens now on the home remodelling shows & wonder how did I manage with no counter space back then? (I always felt,I'll make due with what I have .)
