Hi Deena
I am sorry to hear the regression on the tumor. Paul is Bronx's Dad, and Bronx had SRT in May 2017. It took quite awhile for results. He can give you a more clear update. His spreadsheet is also updated.
Our latest from WSU is that they are no longer doing SRT, or at least they removed it from their website. So that may not be an option anymore. You could try cabergoline. Some forum members have been successful with it, and some have not had success.
I don't have other QOL suggestions, except to give Malachai lots of scratches and brushing. Our Acro kittehs need all the love we can give them. I hope you can periodically keep us updated on how Malachai is doing.

Acro is such a cruddy disease. I hate what it did to Leoberry.
I am sorry to report that we released Leo last Friday (7/4/2019). He died just over age 13, from Acro complications - throat stridor and mouth growths, severely inhibiting his ability to chew and swallow. And the small cell lymphoma cropped back up. Leo lived 33 months after SRT, and it really helped him. There is a chart in the 3rd tab of his spreadsheet showing the insulin reduction over time. It is even possible, the Acro was dormant. His diabetes could have been pancreatic, or even a side effect of long term steroid use. Leo was on prednisolone for 2 years to combat the lymphoma. We miss him so much.
Theresa wrote on the calendar for July 5th:
Dearest Leo
If love could have saved you, you would have lived forever.
Love Mom and Dad
