Morning all! Another yellow AMPS, but I'll take it.

Doing a curve for the vet today, so will be taking readings with my ReliOn and AT2 both. He read 280 this am on the AT2. The vet probably won't be pleased that I reduced the dose to 0.25U without consulting but oh well, I trust you guys a bit more than her

He's been running away from the tests lately and been really huffy about it, which makes me sad because I thought he was getting used to it and he would come running when I shook the strip bottle. I guess we'll see what happens but he's gonna be annoyed at mama today with a curve.

+2 = 125 on human, 189 on AT - that's a big drop right?? Should I be concerned?

+6 = 110 on human, 196 on AT2 - is it weird that he's going down on the human but up on the pet?

Depot is still building after the skip couple nights ago, this curve might not be a good test if what this dose can really do.

Don’t compare meters, it will drive you crazy! He is safe on both of them. Are you using the same blood drop for both?

Yup same drop, have em both lined up and dip one after the other.

+10 = 218 on human, 311 on AT2

Depends what the goal of the curve is. If it’s just for the vet, today will be fine. You wouldn’t make any dosing decisions based on today’s data though.

Yea for the vet. I think she wants to make dosing decisions but I’m just gonna keep going with SLGS.

For SLGS, you would be keeping this dose anyway, since the nadirs are between 90 and 149.

Makes sense, yea. I can imagine the vet would probably want to up it back to 0.5u which is what she prescribed but just gonna let her know I’m not comfortable with that.

PMPS = 189 on human, 297 on AT2.

+2 = 192/210 on human (started new bottle of strips so its old vs. new) and 282 on AT2

+4 = 210 on human, 252 on AT2. We had a bit of a fight after AT2 test, so prolly bumped him up to yellow because of that
