Hi,
I am trying to learn more about feeding the curve and I have a question. I understand that you intervene with food to help slow down a fast, steep drop, but I am unclear about the timing.
For instance, last night Phoebe Squeak’s PMPS number was 456.
I increased her dose by .25 and it was clear early in the cycle that she was dropping fast. I wasn’t sure if I should try to slow her down right away or wait until she got into blue or even green numbers before I tried to slow things down. I knew the lower she got the greater the chance of a bounce but I also wanted to get her out of high numbers.
As you can see from her SS I decided to give her some low and medium carb food at +2.75 when she was at 175, and then more med carb food at +3 when she hit 81.
As predicted, she bounced. I would appreciate any advice on what I could have done better in terms of feeding the curve. This is all still new to me.Thanks very much.
