It’s the weekend for me after today! I affectionately call this situation “Thursday-Friday”

I’m heading away this weekend with BIL giving Mowgli his insulin. We did go into lower blues last night so I believe most ppls advice is that I should lower Mowgli’s dose to 0.25u. I think it will be hard for BIL to draw that amount.

I would lower the dose for the weekend as well. Can you draw up a sample of 0.25 units for your BIL so he can see the correct dose? Use something like black tea in the sample syringe. Make sure you tape up the top so he doesn't give it by mistake.

Good idea! He will be shocked that Mowgli’s getting a lower dose than 0.5u. He couldn’t believe what a small amount 0.5u was :)

LOL imagine injecting black tea into your cat!!! I could label the example syringe to something like “reference”

Today is Thursday/Friday LOL! So just in case I don't have a chance tomorrow (not sure what day that would be :smuggrin:) , I wanted to wish you and your BF an amazing weekend away!

Thanks! I plan on it! the wedding is in the Rocky Mountains so it will be so beautiful even if it's supposed to rain ;)

In the end there are a few good breweries and bars so I think we can find something to entertain ourselves :D

I really should! I find them intimidating actually... I feel they're over my head haha, I also have amazing eyesight... but i cant expect my volunteer caregivers to have the same so I ought to learn... also, fingers crossed that Mowgli slides his way down the dosage ladder then I will definitely be needing calipers!
