This is his lowest ever, Want to be sure that I should give the 24u.
He drops after the am shot and that could take him below 100!!

I am at work and cannot stay with you. Since you can monitor, and have supplies, you should be okay to shoot your normal dose. Make sure to get a +1 and a +2 to see what he does. Keep your subject line updated to you can get advice if needed.

Thanks, I will.

Only here for short time. Monitor. In case it's needed and hope it isn't do you have high carb food (wet foid), syrup ( my gal loves pure maple syrup, but karo or honey is what's used more often). Do you have the hypo guide printed out?

DO NOT GIVE ANY R.

I have the food and honey and syrup. I'll need to look at the hypo guide. I don't have it printed.

Understand you being nervous I'd be a wreck. Deep breath, you know the drill. You know you may need to feed the curve, small amounts so he doesn't get too full. I'm not super experienced but have had a couple of episodes with Jerry and I'll be around for a while this morning to help/offer moral support if you need it.:bighug:

I just have a few minutes right now. I’ve been looking at his SS and he’s been doing great, I’m thrilled to see this number. As a note, I’d think about using a higher number than 50 as a reduction point because of his large depot. You might want to try 70 or 80. Some acro moms used a bit higher but 70-80 might be a good range to start. If he drops below, say 70, you would reduce to 22u and we will see how he does. We are on new ground with him but wow does his SS look better!

Be sure you get a +1 and +2. If I have any chance to check in again, I will but it’s going to be a fairly busy day.

This is so awesome!!!!!!!! A blue number on his own!!!

Keep your title line and ss updated. Use the 911 option if needed. You won't be alone, more people coming on as east coast wakes up.

I'm home for a bit more today, then spotty reception after that. Know the number and directions for ER and vet. I doubt you will need them. Even though it's a high dose, it's a dose Biscuit needs and becoming accustomed to. He starting to find his dose.t

I will keep checking in.

Don't understand reduction point! Is it bg amps number?
Feeling better that he hasn't really dropped a lot. Thanks for checking in.

I think Marje is referring to nadir. So if Biscuits gets to 70 or 80 this cycle then he's earned a reduction. Hope Marje is still around to verify but that is what I understand.

Now I understand. Lots of information to remember. I'm not too good at navigating the posts. Where to find specific info..

Not to worry. There'll be time for that and you have some wonderful helpers. After what you've had to deal with you'll get there. It's just new territory for you and Biscuits. It is so awesome you got here after all that hard work. You may even see some green numbers today, how awesome would that be?:D:D

Funny you should say that, we're almost to green!!!

I think a smidge of lc food now or at to slow it down especially if he drops +4 might be in order.

what do others think? Do you have a target number you intervene at?

I use 60 for Ollie but she is always lower when I catch it. I believe Wendy used 70 because of other conditions.

He had a snack

Any suggestions of medium carb canned food? I know pate' is low and FF gravy is high. Is there a middle carb? Just wondering

Nice cycle.

I usually used 50 as the reduction point, as per TR. However, when reductions came fast and furious after SRT or IAA was breaking, then I was more cautious and used 70 until reductions slowed down. I also never got over 10 units is dose. All you can do is experiment and see what works for Biscuits and you.
