Good morning, happy Tuesday!

Leo seemed fine when we woke up early this morning, purring and acting hungry but would'n eat any of the three flavors I put down for him but he drank a bunch of water. Very similar to last Thursday, I hope this is not becoming a thing.

As I'm writing this, he's eaten a bit out of all three. :)

It's a bit cool today but the sun is out at least. Yesterday was cloudy cold and raining on and off all day. More like October than June. What's with this crazy weather? :rolleyes:

Leo's on it! Making sure Bella is staying out of the shark waters!
I showed him Bella's picture in the calendar so he'll recognize him even if he's wearing a diving suit! :)

Thanks Lyane! I was going to erase everything I wrote before he started eating but didn't. Leo was Dx'd with CKD but not showing any symptoms. I'm hoping he's just being fussy about his food.

I’m glad that Leo decided not to be picky this morning! Maybe he’s taking revenge for you not running errands yesterday!

It’s cooler than usual out here too, we’ve had a lot of rain over the past couple days which is good for the fires. It definitely makes it easier to be at work when it isn’t sunny and warm out!

Hope you two have a great day, be good today Leo, look out for Bella and help him out of his diving suit.

Those fires are horrible, and so early in the season. The size of Edmonton they're saying on the news. I hope you're not close. :bighug:
How are your vagabonds? Behaving like good guests I hope! :p

The fires ARE horrible, I can't believe it's the season already! All the fires are West of me, so far the only impact is the smoke... today the smell is not too too strong but earlier last week you couldn't even be outside which was a shame because it was 30C.

My vagabonds are good! so far everything is going well although I don't think that my BF quite understood what we signed up for ;) It doesn't matter though because we're happy to help our friends :D
 
Something in the air? Ravan has been VERY picky with his food for several days (drives me a bit crazy! Trying to find something he'll eat)

I'm sure it wasn't easy for you or your kitty, I'm very sorry.
There isn't a huge choice of foods that are good for both diabetes and CKD and Leo is being very fussy lately which makes it harder. He doesn't seem to care much for the ones that are lower in phos so I mix the high protein and low phos together. Also I give him omegas and add a bit of water in his food. No BP meds or subq's yet, but I know it's in our future. :(
