Canadian PSA RE: Fancy Feast

Pet Valu has their monthly Fancy feast deal happening right now 10 / $5. I again purchased 100 cans as it’s such a bargain. Pleased to say I didn’t crash the cash system this time

I love my Pet Valu, the exact opposite of a big box store. Their adoption service is how we got Marco, street smart and loves riding in the car.
His "behavioral issue" was that someone must have been using a spray bottle on him.

Damn! This sale goes on almost every month so I always take advantage. I usually get 100 cans at a time

Marco was meant to be, five minutes later and he would have been gone from the store. The next day at the shelter the volunteer's mouth was hanging open when she saw me scoop up Marco and flip him over to rub his tummy. I put him in Cynthia's arms and the deal was sealed, we never even did the interview process.

Agreed, Marco is adorable and I want to squish him!
And I hope the brother and sister were adopted together!!! I was always afraid someone would split up Alice and her brother (the only cat she ever loved) if something happened to me.

So awesome! He looks very happy, kind, and well adjusted. Some people just don’t know how to treat cats.

Example; when my boyfriend first met my cat Nyx she was laying on her back with an exposed belly and he rubbed her belly like a dog

Thanks Amanda! Unfortunately no Pet Valu in Quebec... but I'm very very close to Ontario, a good thing! I'll go pick up some and from now on, I'll watch for their sale!

Oh perfect that you’re close enough to Ontario . The sale is on until June 9th so you have a little time

Thanks Amanda! That's my favorite pet store also. I'm lucky to still have 2 relatively close to me. Last September when we moved here and left our son all alone in Waterdown, he adopted two 6 month old kitten brothers from them. When there's siblings involved they adopt them out as a package deal, I love them for that.

So great! It’s a sin to separate family cats so I also am glad they have the family adoption package policy

That makes me happy to hear! Siblings can have these absolutely beautiful relationships. My mom even had stray siblings she fed (TNR cats) that were so sweet in their interactions together.

Love mine...they will bring in anything I ask for if it is in their catalog. That and Global Pets. Another great store.

Yes, but not in Quebec... Probably because here French has to be first in everything, so it's a lot more costy for business to come here! .. so because of that, we're missing a lot ! So I go to Ontario!

That shows what a good franchisee can do. One Global here closed and at the second store I never engage the owner in conversation.
Blah blah blah super kibble Blah blah blah super litter. Put a sock in it.
I only drag my butt into Petsmart for fish stuff and they don't do adoptions.

She is the best! She always made sure there was Rawz Turkey on the shelf for me.

Actually go to the Leduc store for Global and Beaumont for Pet Value.
