05/31 Mowgli AMPS 274 reduction earned

Mowgli qualified for a reduction last night but I so don’t want to give it to him because he’s been doing well on 1u

I’m going away next weekend for a wedding and I think I might try TR when I return. It will be really tough with my work schedule... but I want to try.

Do you think I should just start trying now? Or should I wait until after the wedding. I also have vacation coming up for a week in July and 2 weeks in August.

Thoughts?

If you start TR now, you'll have a week to see how he dose before you go to the wedding. It will give you time to gather data. However, if you can't monitor as much during the week, it may make more sense to wait until after the wedding since you won't be around to monitor next weekend. When you go on vacation in July and August we can help you come up with a vacation dose no matter whether you are doing TR or SLGS.

Thanks! Alright waiting until after the wedding sounds like a good plan. Overall My plan is to *gasp* get up at 5 to do his AMPS and shot, then I will be able to get a +1 or + 1.5 before I have to run and catch the bus.
 
On the SS you said ,Mowgli didn't like the side shot? You're shooting just under the skin. You don't need to "Tent" the skin. Don't shoot straight in ,but at an angle. Part the fur so you can see his skin,he should be laying down.
Ravan doesn't seem to even notice?

Hmmm I really think I must be doing it wrong because it definitely bothers him. I’ve watched videos online but o don’t find them helpful. I’ll have to do more research.
