Happy Friday! :bighug: For a short week it sure seemed long :)

This was recommended by a friend who is in pest control for termites. We only spray outside.

We are having issues with snakes. The rain (flooding) has pushed them to higher ground which happens to be around the houses. We had a 4' rat snake wrapped around the bird bath last week. Neighbor had two copperheads at her front door!

Thanks Lizzie, yeah I got some stuff last year and the container looks the same it was 150.00 and we put it in a spray bottle and we have tiny holes in top of our walls and we spray it in them.
I hope the snakes go away soon! The other day at work, 2 birds were trying to get a black snake, I caught snake and put in bushes so birds didn’t eat it

Jamie!!! I love Bella’s couch!! He so looks like the king of the castle!

Hopefully your termite problem will be an easy fix :)

Sorry about the termites.....I have ants! That's Florida for you, gotta love it:):)
Hope Bella slides down today. Happy Friday!!

Great pic of Bella on the kitteh couch - that is so cute. We tried a cat couch here when we still had Scoobs. Both Scoobs and Chinus used it to mark their territory. The little monsters ruined it in 2 weeks. Same thing with a cat tree...I should have just put the litter box on it.

No significant snakes here in NW Austin suburbia. We get the occasional snake (rat snake, texas checkered garter snake, ribbon snake). My favorite are the texas checkered garter snakes - they look real neat. About 5 years ago we had several Texas Legless lizards. The babies look almost like worms - cool!

Leo doing better. I'll update his thread. We know he is pretty sick at this point.

YAY! Good for you! Snakes are not liked by many people but they are really important for our ecosystem! They eat rodents & bugs. Some snakes are almost extinct!
The rodents reproduce exponentially, and have ticks that can carry Lyme disease. I think our world would be a very nasty place without snakes! ( I love all animals including snakes :D )

Bella looks "Picture Perfect" posing on that cat couch! ( He could be in an ad! )

I found this about getting rid of termites " termites can be killed by using a solution of sodium borate or by applying sodium borate powder to the targeted area. An advantage of using borates, as with most natural-ways of eliminating termite pests, is that it is non-toxic to both humans and pets."
