Ti-Mousse RIDES AGAIN.... +7.5=29; +8.5=68; +9.5=79; PMPS=56; +1=50; +3.5=112; +5=149;

If your schedule can accommodate a new schedule 12 hours later that is fine. But, please see my ETA on the last post, I think I would reduce again. Back to back reductions usually don't work, but this boy is on a mission. I would reduce to 6 units when you shoot.
I saw your ETA and did not shoot yet; he's been very weird since 3 days always being very low and even "LO" on the meter! That's why I'm careful.. I'll test in 5 minutes!

Lyane, I just saw a 50 at your next test. I think it would be a good idea to skip tonight. Let's drain the depot some and start again tomorrow.

Yes I was just writing to you; he's still going down again, so no shooting and another testing night !:coffee: He was always so quiet and since 3 days I don't know what's going on with his numbers.... The only thing I changed is where I shoot; always did the scruff and since 3 days I tried on the side as supposedly the absorption is better....!!! Better all right  !! I will reduce his dose tomorrow!
Thank you so much Bobbie for helping my Ti-Mousse ! :bighug:

Sorry @Ti-Mousse just seeing the tag.
I'm glad Bobbie was here.
I see Ti-Mousse is up to his tricks again. I agree he is on a mission.....something is going on and I think you were wise to skip the dose seeing he is not rising. Keep testing until he gets higher.
I see on the SS you went up in 0.5 unit increments after 5.25 units so do you think it should go down the same way @Bobbie And Bubba to 5.75 unit tomorrow?

Well, the reductions were close together, so my first though was to reduce by .25 ,but a .50 reduction to 5.75 might not be a bad idea, because a 29 today was realllllllly low. If the reduction doesn't hold, we can always go up.

Poor you! always stuck with my ti-minou , I'll wait for advice for tomorrow's dosing !

@Bobbie And Bubba and I think you should reduce dose to 5.75 units. But keep testing frequently when you give the insulin in case he wants to drop low again
I will reduce to 5.75 tomorrow morning and test and retest....! You're so patient! I will keep testing again tonight to make sure he finally goes up steadily before going to bed!
Again, thank you and @Bobbie And Bubba for being there! Your help is so precious !:bighug::bighug:

The worst thing for me in testing a lot is his ears problem : he was a stray cat and when I took him in, one ear was so frozen that it was all curled up and part of the edge was hard as rock and still is, and the other one had many small pieces missing so the blood hardly flows :( He's such a lovely kitty, he doesn't like it but he lets me ! :cat:

My goodness Ti-Mousse. So glad your done with the drama today. It needs to stop.

I tested Ollie when I got home this afternoon. First test was LO. Thought I was going to have a heart attack. Good thing I have it drilled into me retest immediately. Thats when I got the 58.

These cats need to stop cavorting.
Glad Olive is not following Ti-Mousse! He's a stooopid cat!!

Ok, Here's a Pic to put a scare into T View attachment 45205 I printed it & taped it to the bottom of my Fridge. It didn't work for Ravan when he decided to go diving, but what the heck,
maybe it will get T to at least think about NOT going diving with the sharks?

Ya, get rid of the lousy kibble. FF Gravy lovers always worked for Ravan. Took a while sometimes, but it did work!

Good job Lyane :D You understand now when I say,"we are their slaves" ! They are in control, not us!! :woot::woot::woot:

Lets hope these crazy drops are a prelude to something GOOD around the corner :p
I can't put it on the fridge, I'll be the one scared to death and having nightmares.:nailbiting:. I'll try near his bed!
I'm reducing from 6.75 to 5.75 tomorrow, I'll have bouncing instead of dropping; a more quiet day! At least he'll stop dropping every 2 days! Can't wait for a last test and go to bed!

Finally starting to go up! :joyful:
I missed all the action, Lyanne, @Ti-Mousse I had the exact thing happen with Taco about changing shooting location. We always shot on the side, front, and he developed a semi hard 2 inch spot.

We started shooting scruff and other side until lump dissolved. We now use and alternate the 3 spots. Tacos mom my daughter has a habit of using his left side, and he was getting those higher numbers last week. I took the needle from her and scruff shot, and now were getting the blues and greens. So, who knows.??

As far as Ts ears , I know they are not in the best of shape :( But, if you see how much we test, Tacos ears are perfectly fine.
We soak a cotton pad with witch hazel and wipe it real good, inside and out about once a week.

Maybe you can try that? Just trying to help if you haven't tried it. I've tried everything suggested here and nothing has helped like the witch hazel, You can do it more often when you test a lot like you have been. :) Hope T Mousse behaves for you tonight <3
Isn't this fun?? NOT!! :)
